Thirty One

'Mommy!' Tommy yelled as Toni walked through the door, she dropped her bag and helmet on the floor picking up the little boy as he ran at her. 'I've missed you Mommy'. 'I've missed you too baby'. When Cheryl shut the door behind her Tommy lifted his eyes 'Cheryl!' he held his arms out to the redhead, she gladly took him as Toni greeted her brothers. 'I've missed you, I haven't seen you for a long time!' he said wrapping his arms around her neck. 'I've missed you too, it's been a whole week' she smiled. 'Hey Red' Fangs said from the couch. 'Hello Fangs' she smiled at him. 'Did you guys have a good weekend?' Sweet Pea asked looking at them both. 'We did' Toni smiled 'thank you for looking after Tommy'. 'No problem the kids better behaved than Fangs' Sweet Pea laughed dodging the pillow that was launched at his head. 'Move over let us sit down' Toni laughed as she pushed Fangs. She sat down leaving enough room for Cheryl to sit down with Tommy. 'So what have you guys been up to?' Toni asked the boys. 'Eating pizza, watching movies and we went to the park too' Tommy smiled climbing from Cheryl's lap. 'That sounds fun did Uncle Pea and Uncle Fangs behave themselves?' Toni smirked at her brothers to see if Tommy would snitch on them for anything. 'Uh huh' he nodded as he sat on the floor to continue playing with the toys he was playing with before they came home.

It wasn't long before Tommy was climbing on Toni's lap looking extremely tired, she side eyed her brothers 'what time have you been putting him to bed'. 'Early' Sweet Pea shrugged not turning to look at Toni. 'Yeah early' Fangs agreed. She just shook her head with a smile, her brothers may look big and scary but they were so soft when it came to Tommy. 'I'm going to get him showered and in bed he's exhausted and he has school tomorrow' Toni said as she stood lifting the little boy with her. 'Babe are you okay with these two idiots'. 'Hey!' the boys said in unison. 'Yes Toni I'm sure I'll be fine' the redhead laughed. Toni carried Tommy into the bathroom to get him prepared for bed. 'So Red how's your romantic weekend been?' Fangs asked. 'Are you asking me because you know Toni won't give you any details?' Cheryl smiled. 'Maybe' Fangs grinned. 'Well it was nice we spent Friday night just relaxing, Saturday morning we went to Pop's for breakfast and spent the night at the club' Cheryl said missing out all of the drama of course. 'I remember when we used to go to the Whyte Worm back home when we was younger, Toni was always fighting' Sweet Pea laughed. 'Yeah she was' Fangs laughed 'did she behave herself last night?'. 'She did, Toni would fight, why?' Cheryl asked puzzled. 'We had it rough, people fought all the time' Sweet Pea just shrugged 'she's got a mean right hook'.

Tommy hugged everyone goodnight before Toni tucked him into bed reading him a story as he quickly fell asleep. She quietly shut her bedroom door making sure not to be too loud before she sat down back next to the redhead. 'So what are you guys talking about?' Toni asked. 'We were just telling your girl about our days at the Whyte Worm' Sweet Pea smirked. Toni rolled her eyes turning to Cheryl 'don't listen to anything they say, they're probably lying'. 'Oh so you didn't spend your youth fighting?' Cheryl asked raising an eyebrow. 'Erm well we was in a gang' Toni smiled sheepishly. Cheryl just laughed, after last night she knew Toni had fire inside of her and that she was capable of standing up for herself despite her last relationship. 'I bet they didn't tell you that whenever we fought when we was younger I always made them both cry' Toni laughed. 'They did not' Cheryl smirked looking at the boys. 'Hey she fought dirty, she always went straight for the nose' Fangs laughed. Their conversation was interrupted by Cheryl's phone ringing, she looked up to Toni 'Veronica's video calling'. 'Answer it babe it's fine' Toni smiled. Cheryl accepted the call revealing Veronica face.

'Let's skip the pleasantries, how was your night after you left? You and Toni couldn't keep your hands off each other to the point you had to leave, I thought you just going to do the deed right there on the dancefloor' Veronica laughed.

'Oh my god Veron...'.

'Don't act shy now, neither of you were last night. How's Toni's face and what are you up to right now, I need to get all the gossip' Veronica said excitedly 'Why are you blushing so hard?'.
