A few weeks had passed since the small family had gotten back from their vacation, they had fallen back into their normal routine and Tommy was back at school. He was really excited to go back and see his friends after their vacation and he was even more excited to tell them about his mommies getting married. Cheryl and Toni had already started planning their wedding since they wanted to get married sooner rather than later, both of them agreeing that they wanted something small and intimate. They wanted to share their day with the people that meant the most to them and they wasn't interested in inviting people that they barely spoke to. Cheryl told Toni she wanted to be the one waiting at the alter, she wanted to watch as Toni walked down the aisle, both of them agreeing that Tommy should give Toni away, they wanted him as involved in the ceremony as possible. Toni was a little concerned that Cheryl wanted to wait at the alter because she had no one to give her away but the redhead soon put her mind at ease by telling her it wasn't about that and that she wanted to witness the most beautiful woman in the world walking the aisle towards her.

The couple had also talked about whether to invite Cheryl's parents, they seemed happy enough when the small family visited the Blossoms to tell them the good news but Cheryl would never fully trust if their feelings were genuine. The couple had spoken about it and Toni told Cheryl it was completely up to her and she'd support her regardless of if she invites her parents or not. Cheryl eventually made up her mind, she visited them alone and told them she'd like them to be there if they wanted to attend. Of course they both did and Cheryl couldn't deny that made her happy, they were kind to Tommy and Toni and that was enough for her to give them a chance to be real parents and to allow them the chance to see her tie the knot.

They had spent most of their free time looking at venues finally falling in love with one after what felt like forever. It was a small outside venue with a beautiful view and lots of greenery. They decided they'd marry each other as the sun set before spending the evening and night with their family celebrating.

There were still a lot of things to prepare and now the venue was booked and the date was set they were running out of time. They still had to find their dresses, rings and organise the flower arrangements. 'Do you want to go ring shopping tomorrow?' Toni called out from the lounge. 'Sure babe' Cheryl said as she cooked dinner in the kitchen, Tommy smiling at her from his seat on the kitchen counter. 'Can I come?' he asked with a toothy grin. 'You'll be at school kid' Toni said as she walked into the kitchen. 'That's not fair' the little boy pouted. 'Don't worry you'll be coming with Mommy and your uncles to find you a dazzling suit' Toni laughed 'you'll be in charge of making sure your uncles don't try and buy anything leather'. 'I'll make sure they don't' Tommy smiled. 'And you have the most important job of all' Cheryl smiled. 'What's that?' Tommy asked, Toni also giving the redhead her attention. 'You have to help mommy pick out a beautiful wedding dress, do you think you can do that?' Cheryl grinned as she stirred the spaghetti sauce. 'I can!' He said loudly 'do I get to help you too?'. Toni smirked at Cheryl they hadn't planned on Tommy going with Cheryl and Veronica to pick out a dress because they didn't want him to get bored. 'Would you like to?' Cheryl asked surprised. 'Yeah, your my mom too. I have to make sure you both get the best wedding dresses so you can both look beautiful' he smiled brightly. Cheryl felt her heart melt as she looked at the little boy who made her a mother. When she first met Tommy at Pops she never imagined that the little boy would worm his way into her once guarded heart but here he was calling her his other mother. 'I'm sure we can arrange something then sweetheart'. 'Yay!' He said sliding off of the counter causing Cheryl to hold her breath incase he hurt himself. 'Can I go and play until dinners ready?' He asked looking at Cheryl and Toni. 'Yeah go ahead but don't make too much of a mess' Toni laughed as she watched him run out of the kitchen. 'He loves you so much' Toni whispered wrapping her arms around Cheryl's waist pressing her front into the redheads back as she placed a kiss on her neck. 'I love him so much' Cheryl smiled turning around in Toni's arms before resting her arms on the brunettes shoulders playing with the baby hairs at the back of her neck. 'I know you do' Toni said before placing a soft kiss on the redheads lips.

The next day after dropping Tommy off at school Cheryl drove herself and Toni to a jewellers on the outskirts of the city. 'Are you excited?' Cheryl asked as she pulled her car into a parking bay. 'I am' Toni smiled brightly 'I hope we find the perfect rings'. 'I'm sure we will babe but if not there's plenty of other places so no pressure' Cheryl leaned over kissing Toni before reaching for the car door 'come on'. Cheryl and Toni walked into the jewellers hand in hand, the little bell above the door ringing lightly. 'Ladies' the woman behind the counter smiled 'can I help you with anything?'. 'My fiancé and I are looking for the perfect rings' Cheryl said looking at the displays 'we'd like to see your finest wedding rings'. 'Of course' the woman smiled she moved through a door behind her reappearing with a selection of trays containing rings. She laid them out on the glass counter so Cheryl and Toni could look through them. 'Which one's do you like babe?' Cheryl asked watching Toni in awe rather than looking at the rings. 'They're all so pretty' Toni breathed as her eyes moved over each one. 'Feel free to try them on, they of course can be adjusted so don't worry if they don't fit' the woman said 'is there a certain price range that you'd like to look at?'. 'No thank you' Cheryl answered 'price isn't an issue'. 'Great' the woman smiled 'I'll give you both a moment to look over them'. She moved away and busied herself with cleaning the glass leaving the couple to talk amongst themselves.

'Is there any you like baby?' Cheryl asked 'don't worry if not there's plenty of other jewellers'. 'I don't...' Toni started before she ran her fingers over a ring in the second tray in the top right corner letting out a gasp causing the redhead to look down at what caused the brunettes reaction 'I think this is the one'. Toni carefully pulled out the ring, it was white gold with a single diamond and it had a small moon engraved on the inside of it, it was perfect. 'What do you think?' Toni said looking at the redhead. 'I love it' Cheryl placed a kiss on Toni's cheek. They had decided on getting matching rings a few weeks ago and Cheryl had already made up her mind that she'd be happy with whatever Toni chose.

'Anything caught your eye?' The jeweller approached them again. 'This is the one' Toni smiled 'but we'd need two, is that possible?'. 'All of our rings are unique although this one does have an opposite' the woman smiled as she looked over the rings. 'Ah here it is' she smiled 'it's identical the only difference being is that it has a sun engraved rather than a moon'. 'It's perfect, we'll take them' Toni beamed. 'Great' the woman smiled 'let me get your measurements so we can adjust them both, do you mind trying them on first'. Toni handed Cheryl the ring with the engraved sun before sliding hers onto her finger and watching her fiancé do the same thing. They fitted perfectly. 'Wow it looks like these rings were made for you'. Cheryl and Toni smiled softly at each other.

Half an hour later they were leaving the jewellers with their rings both happy and in love. 'Can you believe the rings fitted perfectly, it was like it was meant to be' Toni smiled. 'That's because we are meant to be' Cheryl grinned wrapping a arm around Toni's shoulder. 'Do you want to go and get lunch?' Cheryl asked as they got into the car. 'Sure' Toni nodded 'do you think we could keep the rings between us until we get married babe?'. 'Of course' Cheryl smiled as she started the car 'people won't have to wait too long'. 'I can't wait to marry you Cheryl Blossom' Toni said happily. 'I can't wait to marry you Antoinette Topaz' Cheryl grinned reaching over to Toni taking her hand and lifting it to her lips placing a gentle kiss on her fingers. That was one more thing to check off of their list making everything that little bit more real and they were ecstatic.
