Seventy Two

'Can you believe we're both in settled relationships' Veronica chuckled looking over to the redhead. 'I know and I honestly couldn't be happier' Cheryl smiled. 'Me either, I love that everyone gets along so well too' Veronica said. 'Definitely, I mean look at them' Cheryl laughed. The women looked over to the sea seeing the boys and Toni splashing around. 'Maybe we should join them' Veronica suggested. 'Yeah you're right' Cheryl nodded standing up from her towel on the ground and holding her hand out to her best friend. Veronica took the redheads hand and allowed herself to be pulled up. As they walked towards the ocean Cheryl could see Toni smiling at her and it melted her heart, she looked so beautiful, the redhead really felt like the luckiest girl in the world. 'Hey' Toni smiled as Cheryl joined her in the water while Veronica made her way to Archie. 'Hey yourself' Cheryl grinned wrapping her arms around Toni's neck and bringing her into a kiss. 'Mama!' Tommy squealed happy she had joined them in the water. 'Hi Tommy' Cheryl smiled as she grabbed him and lifted him on to her shoulders. The little boy giggled in glee as he put his arms in the air as Cheryl had hold of his legs to keep him steady. Toni loved seeing them both together, Cheryl was a great mother to Tommy and she couldn't wait until they had another child together. After a few minutes Cheryl lifted Tommy from her shoulders and put him back into the water expecting him to swim away but he didn't, he turned back towards the redhead. 'I love you Mama'. 'I love you too baby' she smiled as she kissed his cheek.

The boys played soccer on the beach while Veronica, Cheryl and Toni chatted as they sat on the sand. 'So what's the plans for your birthday tomorrow T?' Veronica asked. 'I think we're all going to Disney world, Tommy really wants to go' Toni answered as she looked at Veronica and then to the redhead who was laying her head on Toni's legs. 'That's cool, what about after?' Veronica said. 'I think it would be nice for us all to go out for dinner' Toni smiled. 'Sounds good babe' Cheryl grinned. The sun had started to set but no one was in a rush to leave just yet. 'Toni you wanna play? Tommy's getting kinda tired' Archie asked bringing the little boy to the women. 'Sure who am I teaming up with?' Toni asked as Cheryl sat up so she could move. 'How about me and you versus Sweet and Fangs' Archie said. Toni let out a laugh 'they don't stand a chance'. As they walked away Cheryl motioned for Tommy to go to her. 'Are you a little tired sweetheart?' Cheryl asked. 'Yes Mama' Tommy said rubbing his eyes a little. 'Okay come here' Cheryl said wrapping a towel around him and pulling him towards her 'maybe we should get him home'. 'Yeah I'll let Archie and everyone know that we're taking him home' Veronica said standing up. 'Okay tell them they're fine to stay longer though' Cheryl said popping her things into a bag and pulling on her shorts but not bothering with her T-shirt while Veronica went to tell the rest of the group. As she looked up Toni was following Veronica back. 'Hey babe, do you want me to come with?' Toni asked looking at the redhead. 'No baby it's fine, I'll get him fed and ready for bed, come back whenever you're ready' Cheryl smiled kissing Toni. 'Okay if you're sure' Toni said as she leaned down to kiss Tommy 'I'll see you all later'. 'No kiss for me?' Veronica joked. 'Fine' Toni laughed grabbing Veronica's face and playfully kissing her cheek causing Cheryl to roll her eyes as she let out a laugh. After they said goodbye Cheryl took Tommy's hand and starting on their way back to the villa along with Veronica.

Luckily while Cheryl and Toni were showering earlier today Sweet Pea and Fangs had quickly gone to a store to buy some food and drinks so they had a little something to eat while they were at the villa. Cheryl left Veronica downstairs as she took Tommy upstairs to give him a bath, she filled it halfway with bubbles. 'Okay sweetheart' Cheryl said as she stopped the water running and helped Tommy into the tub. Cheryl washed Tommy's hair, it was rather long when it was wet but his curls soon bounce back when it dried. She and Toni were discussing earlier in the week whether they should take him to have it braided again or keep it as it was. 'Okay you play for a moment and I'll go and get out your pyjamas and then we'll get you some food' Cheryl smiled as she stood up and left the bathroom. The redhead pulled him some pyjamas out of his case and a fresh towel and headed back to the bathroom. 'Okay let's get you out' Cheryl said as Tommy stood up. She wrapped a fluffy towel around him and lifted him out of the bath, he was getting pretty heavy now. They went back to his room where Cheryl helped dry him before she left him to get dressed while she went to go make him a sandwich. 'Hey' Veronica smiled from the couch with a towel wrapped around her hair while Cheryl went to the kitchen. 'Hey V, I'm gonna make something up for Tommy and let him eat it in bed' Cheryl called. 'Okay' Veronica said preoccupied with whatever tv show she was watching.

Cheryl found Tommy sat on his bed when entered his room again. 'Hey baby are you gonna write on Mommy's birthday card?' she asked passing it over to him 'and I was thinking you could eat your dinner in bed and we could put on a movie'. 'Yayyyy!' he squealed accepting the card and with the help of Cheryl he wrote on it. He licked the envelope sloppily and stuck it down once he was done passing it to the redhead who put it in the nightstand drawer. 'Okay sweetheart you sit back and get tucked in' Cheryl said passing him his plate once he was comfy before moving to the tv and putting on a Disney movie that she hadn't seen before but the smile on Tommy's face told her he had. 'Okay I'm just going to get some different clothes on and I'll be back' Cheryl smiled at the little boy who nodded at her with a mouth full of food, she could get a shower once he was asleep. The redhead entered her room and went into her suitcase, on a normal vacation she would have taken her time to empty it and find a place for all of her belongings but since this short break was for Toni and Tommy she decided she'd rather spend her time with them. Cheryl knew that Toni had packed more comfortable clothing so she zipped hers back up and opened her girlfriends case pulling out an oversized T-shirt and some cotton shorts. After getting changed Cheryl headed back to Tommy's room who was almost finished with his food. He gave her a big smile as she moved the blankets and slid in next to him. Tommy gave her a quick run down on what had happened so far on the movie and she nodded along and asked a few questions that he happily answered. By the time the little boy had done explaining he had finished his food, Cheryl took the plate and popped it on the nightstand before they laid down together to enjoy the movie.

Toni and the boys arrived home about an hour and half later, they entered the villa finding Veronica on the couch watching the tv. They all greeted her with smiles and headed upstairs to get showered except for Toni. 'Hey V, where's Cheryl and Tommy?' Toni asked. 'Cheryl bathed Tommy and made him some dinner, they're still upstairs, I think they were going to watch a movie in his room' Veronica smiled. 'Okay cool, has Cheryl eaten?' Toni asked. 'No I was gonna order some pizzas though' Veronica said looking at Toni. 'Yeah sounds good' she said pulling her credit card from her wallet 'it's on me, get plenty I'm starving. I'm just gonna get Cheryl and then get cleaned up'. 'Okay don't take too long in the shower' Veronica laughed. 'Okayyy' Toni said with a confused look on her face before heading upstairs. When Toni entered Tommy's bedroom her heart melted, both Cheryl and Tommy were fast asleep, Tommy bundled up in the redheads arms. Toni quickly pulled out her phone and snapped a few photos before sliding it back into her pocket and crouching down at the side of the bed. 'Baby...' she whispered quietly as she gently shook Cheryl's shoulder 'Cher, wake up'. 'Oh Toni' the redhead whispered looking around slightly confused by her surroundings before realising where she was 'I must have fallen asleep'. 'Veronica's ordering some pizza, I need to quickly shower but I know you haven't eaten so I wanted to make sure you did' Toni smiled. Cheryl nodded her head before carefully pulling her arm from under Tommy, she took Toni's hand and followed her back to their room. 'I need to shower too' Cheryl said as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. 'Okay you go in first babe, I'll wait' Toni said as she shut the bedroom door. 'We can shower together but as much as I enjoyed this morning I think I'm too tired for round two' Cheryl laughed a little. 'Of course baby, come on, the food will be here soon' Toni took Cheryl's hand again and led her into the bathroom but this time they took care of each other in another way as they washed each other's hair and stole kisses under the running water. The rest of the night was like they had spent many others with pizza, a movie and conversation between people who they would all consider as family.
