'Okay Tommy time for your cake' Toni smiled picking the little boy up and putting him on Cheryl's lap as the other children gathered around. Some of the adults got out their phones to video the special moment while Toni ran in the kitchen to light the candles on the cake. The couple had chosen a motorcycle cake in honour of his first bike. She carefully carried it outside to the group and placing it in front of the little boy as the flames danced slightly in the wind. Everyone began singing happy birthday to him and the look on his face made everyone's hearts melt. The adults and children clapped and cheered as he blew out the candles, Toni placing a kiss on one cheek and Cheryl placing a kiss on the other. 'Okay mommies, let us get a photo of the three of you together' Veronica smiled as Cheryl, Toni and Tommy huddled together with a giant smile on their faces, even Penelope had snapped a photo on her phone. 'Okay go and eat some more food and play' Toni said lifting Tommy from the redheads knee. He ran back onto the grass followed by all of his friends. 'I'm just going to take this inside and get it cut up into the kids party bag, do you need anything babe?' Toni asked her girlfriend. 'I'm good thank you baby' Cheryl whispered as she placed a quick peck on Toni's lips causing Veronica to grin at her. 'What now?' Cheryl asked trying to look annoyed even though it was all just good fun. 'Nothing' Veronica shrugged with a wink.

The party was coming to a end and parents had started to arrive to collect their children, all exhausted from the day. Toni and Cheryl handed out the party bags and thanked everyone for coming. Eventually there was only the adults left also Tommy and Alyssa, Toni lit the fire pit as the air started getting cool. The party planners had started getting everything put away and loaded back into their vans. Tommy had fallen asleep on Cheryl's lap, chocolate cake smeared all over his face and her shirt but she didn't mind. Alyssa had done the same on Jugheads lap. Penelope and Clifford had decided it was their time to leave too, they said goodbye to everyone pulling Cheryl and Toni into a hug. 'This was a great party guys' Archie smiled and everyone agreed. 'As long as the kids enjoyed it that's all that matters' Toni smiled. 'T' Sweet Pea said getting Toni's attention 'are we still on for the motorcycle sessions tomorrow?'. 'Definitely' Toni nodded. 'Wait? You guys ride?' Jughead asked. 'Yep' Fangs said 'Toni and Cheryl have just got Tommy his first motorbike for his birthday, he needs to learn to ride it'. 'I ride too!' Jughead grinned 'not as much as I'd like but I do have a bike'. 'That's so cool dude' Sweet Pea said 'how about a race sometime?'. 'You're on!' Jughead laughed not looking at Betty's disapproving face. 'Great everyone's got a bike except me' Toni mumbled like a child. The boys got on really well, arranging to go out together when they were all free, they invited Toni too knowing that she'd rather be around motorcycles and beer than make up and wine.

The party planners had left and everyone was starting to get tired. Toni carried Tommy to bed when Jughead and Betty decided to leave with Alyssa. Veronica was a little tipsy as she flirted with Archie in front of the group causing them to giggle. 'I think I should get her home' Archie laughed. 'Of course' Cheryl nodded. 'Yeah we should go too' Sweet Pea said standing up followed by Fangs, everyone hugged before leaving Toni showing everyone out before going back into the back garden to her girlfriend. 'So today was a success' she smiled at the redhead as she collapsed in the chair next to Cheryl. 'It was, I really enjoyed it, I think the children and even the adults had fun' Cheryl smiled. 'I agree' Toni nodded 'I still can't believe you held that giant spider'. 'Me either' Cheryl laughed. 'Betty asked Veronica about if she had kids' Cheryl changed the conversation. 'Oh yeah, what did she say?' Toni said looking at Cheryl. 'She said maybe in a couple of years' Cheryl shrugged. 'Oh she must be thinking about it then' Toni said. 'Yeah I guess. Veronica also asked if we was having anymore kids'. 'Really?' Toni leaned forward even more interested in the conversation now 'what did you say?'. 'I just said we hadn't talked about it' Cheryl said suddenly finding her eyes anywhere but Toni. 'Oh, maybe we should'. 'We should?' Cheryl asked. 'I mean yeah, I want us to be together forever, if you want that too it's only right we talk about what each of us want for the future. So how's your future looking?' Toni smiled. 'As long as you and Tommy are in it I don't mind' Cheryl answered. Toni raised an eyebrow slightly due to the redheads vague answer 'so you don't want anymore kids?'. 'I mean, I don't know do you?' Cheryl said lifting her eyes to Toni. 'Well I think maybe one day, if you decided you wanted to add another child to our family I wouldn't say no but if you didn't want to that's fine too' Toni smiled sweetly. 'You'd want me to carry our baby?' Cheryl asked. 'Well if that's what you wanted, I already experienced pregnancy with Tommy, plus I'd love if we had a little redheaded baby that looked like you but only if that's what you wanted like I said' Toni leaned forward kissing Cheryl's cheek causing her to blush at the thought. 'Did you see me win musical statues?' Toni smiled proudly deciding to subject since Cheryl hadn't spoken for a while. 'I did' Cheryl smiled. 'We're you impressed?' Toni smirked and the redhead could see where this was going. 'Very' Cheryl grinned. 'Maybe we can go upstairs and you can show me how impressed you were' Toni stood up. 'I'd love to' Cheryl giggled as Toni helped her into the house and upstairs.

The next morning Cheryl woke up nervous about Tommy riding on his dirt bike. Toni had just helped her out of bed and helped get her ready for the day taking her downstairs before the little boy had woken up, he was exhausted from his birthday party the day before. Cheryl sat in her wheelchair on the driveway hoping that in the next few weeks her cast would be off and she would be well on the way to being independent again. She watched Toni move her car on to the far end of the driveway so it wasn't damaged as Tommy practiced, when Toni told the redhead that she was more concerned with the little boy getting hurt than her car. Toni smiled as she passed her rolling out the dirt bike before entering the house again and bringing out the stunt ramps her brothers had bought their nephew. 'Are they really necessary on his first day of practicing?' Cheryl asked. 'Yeah, he might pick it up straight away like we did as kids if not he doesn't have to use them' Toni smiled, she loved that the redhead cared so much about Tommy, she just wanted to wrap him up in cotton wool so nothing could hurt him. Toni filled the bike up with gas and started it up, revving it a few times with a smile. 'Do you think I'm too big for this?' Toni laughed. 'You're going to have a go aren't you?' Cheryl shook her head with a smile. 'Well I need to check it's safe' she smirked sitting on it, revving it and lifting up her legs as it started to move. Cheryl found it comical to see Toni on the small bike. 'That's smooth' Toni smiled cutting off the engine and standing up. 'Yeah and it seems pretty fast too!' Cheryl didn't look overly impressed. 'He'll be fine Mama, stop worrying' Toni smiled as she pushed her girlfriend back into the house.

Tommy had come downstairs now, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. 'Morning baby' Toni smiled from the kitchen moving to pick him up with a kiss to his cheek 'how did you sleep?'. 'Good' he mumbled. She sat him on the counter as she finished making breakfast, her brothers due to turn up any minute. 'Pancakes?' she smiled at him. 'Yes please Mommy. Am I riding my motorbike today?' he smiled. 'You are! Are you excited?' she grinned. 'Yess!' he squealed. 'Good' she lifted him from the counter 'be a good boy and take breakfast to your mama, she's in the lounge'. He nodded eagerly accepting the plate and carrying it carefully into the lounge. 'Here you go Mama' he smiled handing her the plate as she sat on the couch. 'Thank you sweetheart and how are you this morning?' Cheryl smiled as she took the plate from his hands. 'I'm excited to ride my bike' he yelled. Cheryl laughing as he ran back into the kitchen for his own breakfast. The front door suddenly opened and Toni's brothers entered the lounge sitting next to Cheryl. 'Hey' they smiled. 'Hey' Cheryl smiled 'you guys are here early'. 'Yep we've got a lot of teaching to do' Fangs nodded excited to see his nephew riding for the first time. 'Here you go guys' Toni smiled walking into the lounge handing her brothers a plate of pancakes each. They were over the moon about it as they eagerly accepted the plates with thanks. Toni left one more time to fetch her breakfast along with Tommy's so they could all eat before heading outside. 'You need to get a bike T, we arranged with Jug that we'd go for like a biking weekend away, you should come' Sweet Pea said. 'Well I don't have one and I have Tommy to look after' she shook her head at her brother. 'Tommy could stay with me' Cheryl said shrugging her shoulders. 'Cher you're literally in a wheelchair right now babe' Toni answered. 'Yeah but T we're not planning on going for a couple of months, we've got some work to do on our bikes, you could just rent one from a dealership for the weekend or something. Come on it's been forever since we've done it together' Fangs begged. 'I'll think about it' Toni shrugged as she carried on eating her breakfast.
