Seventy Four

'Look!' Tommy squealed as he pointed out of the limo window 'we're here!'. 'Dude you don't have to scream' Sweet Pea laughed as he nudged the little boy. 'Tommy come here and listen to me' Toni said seriously as she tried to calm down the little boy. He looked at his mother as he struggled to peel his eyes away from the window. 'Thomas'. Tommy moved over to Toni looking at her. 'I know you're excited baby but you must stay next to a adult, whether it's me or Mama, your Uncle Pea or Uncle Fangs, Veronica or Archie. You must stay with a grown up okay?' Toni looked her son in the eyes making sure he understood as he nodded. 'Who do you have to stay next to?' Toni asked him just so she knew he took it in. 'You or Mama. Uncle Pea or Uncle Fangs. Auntie Ronnie or Uncle Archie' Tommy nodded. 'Did he just...' Veronica said placing her hand over her heart at the way Tommy addressed her. 'I guess he did' Toni said pulling Tommy in to kiss his cheek before he moved back to the door. The driver opened the door and Tommy followed Sweet Pea, Fangs, Veronica and Archie out. Toni stood up but realised Cheryl was still sat down and she was looking a little paler than normal. 'You okay babe?' Toni asked her voice full of concern. 'Yeah... I , I'm fine' Cheryl smiled as she stood up. 'Are you sure?' Toni asked as she followed the redhead out of the car. 'I'm sure babe' Cheryl nodded. Toni wasn't convinced but she didn't argue instead she was going to enjoy this time with her family.

As they walked through the ticket stand Toni linked her hand with Cheryl's. 'Babe your hand is really sweaty, if you're not feeling well we can go back to the villa I'm sure my brothers will stay with Tommy' Toni said pulling Cheryl to stop walking. 'TT really I'm fine, I'm just a little warm is all' Cheryl gave her a small smile before pulling her to catch up with the rest of the group. They stopped in front of the Disney Castle. 'Wow Mommy look' Tommy shouted pointing up. 'I know baby, it's magical isn't it' Toni smiled as she took it all in herself. This was definitely a day she would remember, she felt like a giant kid herself. 'Maybe we should take some group photos' Cheryl suggested 'I want plenty so we can make an album when we get home'. 'Sounds great babe' Toni agreed. They spent about fifteen minutes taking photos as a group, Toni got individual photos of Tommy with every adult and Cheryl, Toni and Tommy had a few together too. 'Okay V, let me take one of you and Archie and then would you take one of Toni and I?' Cheryl asked. 'Okay' Veronica nodded pulling Archie in front of the castle. Cheryl snapped a few photos of them together before Veronica took the redheads phone.

Cheryl took Toni's hand so they were standing directly in front of the castle. The redhead pulled Toni into a kiss first, and then they smiled at the camera as Veronica snapped some photos. It's now or never Cheryl thought to herself as she reached into her jacket pocket. 'Wait... is Cheryl gonna...' Veronica gasped as she nudged Archie and began videoing on the redheads phone. 'Err Cher what are you doing?' Toni asked as she watched the redhead get down on one knee. Every single person around stopped to watch the interaction between the couple. 'What's Mama doing?' Tommy asked his uncles who shushed him as they quickly pulled out their own phones to capture this moment, none of them had any idea this was going to happen. Cheryl opened up the box revealing her nana's old ring, it was elegant and expensive and something that was passed down to her. The redhead saved it in case she ever found anyone special enough, she never thought she would but here she was at Disney World down on one knee in front of the most amazing woman to ever have graced the planet. She reached up taking Toni's left hand in her own as she took a breath before speaking.

'Toni, you are the most selfless and beautiful woman I have ever had the pleasure of knowing never mind being lucky enough to be on the receiving end of your love. The moment you came into my life, everything changed for the better, I know there has been some hard times but I'd do it all over again if it meant I'd have you by my side. You've given me a son who's heart is as beautiful as yours and you've shown me what real unconditional love is. I don't want to spend my life with anyone else, so Antoinette Topaz would you do me the honour of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?'.

It was as if the whole world had gone quiet, Cheryl could hear her heart beat thumping through her ears but everything else was silent as she nervously waited for Toni's answer. It felt like forever until she saw Toni nod her head, her eyes filling with tears. 'Yes Cher, of course I'll marry you' Toni smiled so widely Cheryl was sure her heart was about to burst. 'Yeah?' Cheryl grinned, tears filling her own eyes. Toni nodded as Cheryl slid the ring onto Toni's finger before standing up and kissing her as she wrapped her arms around her now fiancé and lifted her into the air their lips still connected. 'I love you' Cheryl whispered. 'I love you' Toni smiled. As if only just realising they weren't alone the couple heard eruptions of cheers and applause before their family surrounded them and engulfed them both in a giant hug. Cheryl reached down picking Tommy up and kissed him on the cheek. 'Are you getting married?' Tommy asked with a smile. 'We are baby' Toni said happily. 'Congratulations!' Veronica squealed 'why didn't you tell me?' she nudged the redhead a little but her smile was still wide. Sweet Pea and Fangs brought Toni and Cheryl into a giant hug as they congratulated them both as well. 'Wow Red you're a real romantic' Fangs grinned. Veronica over excitedly demanded more photos of the couple after she'd spent five minutes gushing over Toni's ring.

Cheryl's nerves had finally calmed down a little, her heart rate wasn't making her feel like she was on the verge of a heart attack anymore, she was on cloud nine. She had just asked the love of her life to marry her in front of her family and the best thing of all she said yes. Toni's smile was just as wide as she linked hands with Cheryl, Tommy just in front of them excitedly pointing at different characters making sure the redhead was listening. She may have more knowledge about cartoons and characters than she did before she met Toni and Tommy but she still had a lot to learn and the little boy was eager to teach her. 'I was thinking...' Cheryl said breaking the comfortable silence 'I could ask Veronica to watch Tommy this evening? I'd like to take you to the beach'. 'Okay babe' Toni smiled as she swung their arms a little 'I can't believe we're engaged'. 'Me either, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world' Cheryl grinned 'you've made me so happy TT'. 'You make me so happy babe, I love you' Toni smiled. 'I love you' Cheryl stopped to kiss her before smiling and pulling her hand to keep up with the group.

Toni took so many photos of Tommy and the rest of the group with the different Disney characters and the little boy was determined to get a autograph from each and everyone of them. Veronica had insisted they all wore Mickey Mouse ears that she had just bought and began handing out, Tommy was over the moon and the only person that let out a little grumble of dissatisfaction was Sweet Pea but when his nephew gave him a smile of encouragement he huffed playfully and slid them on to his head. 'I look ridiculous' Sweet Pea said rolling his eyes. 'You look adorable' Cheryl laughed. 'She's right Sweet, they really suit you' Archie joined in playfully. 'Dude they look better on me than you' Sweet Pea nudged him. The group made sure they went on every ride they could and the vip passes saved them a lot of time since they didn't have to wait in a line. 'Veronica can I talk to you?' Cheryl asked. 'Sure, what's up?' Veronica asked as the group sat outside on a bench eating hotdogs. 'Would you and Archie mind watching Tommy tonight? I wanted to spent some time with Toni? No pressure though if you have plans' Cheryl said. 'I'd love to and where are you guys going?' Veronica asked. 'I want to take her to the beach, just so we can spend a little time alone. The sunset is beautiful here and I think she'd love it' Cheryl smiled. 'You've got it bad Cher but I'm so happy for you' Veronica smiled. 'I've got it so bad' Cheryl laughed 'and thank you V, you're the best'. 'I know' Veronica joked 'and did you hear Tommy call me Auntie earlier? He's so cute'. 'I did but I was a little distracted by my nerves. He loves you V and I'm glad he sees you that way because if Toni and I ever have more children you'll be there aunt too, since you're the sister I never had'. 'Aww Cheryl, you're getting soft in your old age' Veronica laughed. 'We're the same age' the redhead playfully pushed Veronica's shoulder 'and I mean it V'. 'Love ya girl' Veronica smiled. 'I know you do' Cheryl laughed and this time it was the brunettes turn to push the redhead. 'Love ya too' Cheryl winked with a wide smile.
