The next morning Cheryl was awoken by Tommy jumping excitedly on her bed. 'Wake up Mama!' He squealed. Normally Cheryl was an early bird but she'd been up pretty late waiting to see if Toni would call her, she was a little disappointed because she missed her but she understood. Cheryl had promised Tommy that they'd spend the day baking today and he was obviously excited about it since he was waking her up so early. 'Okay I'm awake' she said sitting up a little 'did you sleep well?'. 'Yep' he nodded, his teddy Rory hanging from his hand 'are we baking today?'. 'We are' Cheryl nodded, she wasn't great at baking but she'd found some simply recipes online that she was sure even she could follow. 'Now?' Tommy asked. 'Maybe we should get some breakfast first?' Cheryl laughed a little. 'Okay' he said holding out his hand 'come on'. Cheryl took it and the little boy tried to pull her up, she played along as she got up and out of bed. 'Pancakes?' Cheryl asked looking down at her son. 'Yes please' he nodded excitedly.

Breakfast was messy since Tommy wanted to help but Cheryl didn't mind, she'd spend so much time alone in this house she was glad it now felt like a home and that was because of Toni and Tommy. Just as Cheryl put on the cartoons her phone rang with Toni's number, the redhead panicked since it was early, something must have happened. 'Hello' Cheryl said nervously. 'Hey baby' Toni voice was raspy so Cheryl knew she had just woken up 'did I wake you?'. The redhead was relieved that Toni was alright 'no Tommy and I are just about to have breakfast. Why are you awake so early?'. 'Sweet wants us to hit the road, he's crazy strict about sticking to his schedule' Toni laughed and Cheryl let out a small laugh herself. 'Oh, are you having a good time?' Cheryl asked. 'I am, we had fun last night. I miss you and Tommy though, that's why I wanted to call and check in'. 'We miss you too' Cheryl sighed 'yesterday we went to Pops and watched movies and today were baking, he's very excited'. 'I bet' Toni laughed. 'Do you want to speak to him he's sat with me?' Cheryl asked. 'I'd love to' Toni answered before she heard the phone being passed over to their son. 'Hi Mommy' his sweet voice came through the speaker. 'Hi kid, are you having fun?' Toni asked. 'Yup, Mama and I are going to bake today' he said proudly. 'That sounds like so much fun' Toni smiled. 'It is, are you coming home today? Me and Mama miss you' Tommy asked. 'I'm coming home tomorrow baby' Toni said 'I have to go now baby, put Mama back on, I love you and miss you buddy see you soon'. 'Love you too Mommy' Tommy said before handing the phone back to Cheryl. 'Hey' Cheryl said. 'Hey babe, I've got to go now but I can't wait to see you both tomorrow' Toni said. 'We can't wait to see you too, I love you TT'. 'I love you too Cher, bye'. 'Bye' Cheryl said before hanging up the phone with a sigh.

Toni let out a sigh at the exact same time, she was of course having a good time but she was missing her little family. 'You ready T?' Fangs called from the door. 'Yeah I'm coming' Toni said throwing on her jacket. Sweet Pea had planned a full day of riding before they found a motel and bar for the night again. It was nothing fancy but Toni loved it, she enjoyed spending time on her bike much more than clubbing, the bar at the end of the night was just a nice little end to her day. Toni kicked her bike to life once her bag was strapped on and followed her brothers and Jughead down the road. It was so much better than riding in the city, there were barely any cars on the road so they could push their bikes to the limit and have some fun without the fear of causing an accident. The sunrise had been beautiful and the group had stopped to take photos on their cell phones before continuing on their journey.

Of course after a night of drinking by midday they were all pretty hungry so they pulled into a roadside diner. It had nothing on Pops diner in the city but it looked clean and pretty quiet. They parked up their bikes and found a table away from other people. It wasn't long before the waitress was taking their orders and they were left alone again. 'So Toni how are your nerves for the wedding?' Jughead asked. 'Honestly I'm really excited but at the same time I'm so nervous, getting married is a big deal' Toni said looking at him. 'Your not getting cold feet are you?' Fangs asked a little concerned. 'No, I love Cheryl and I can't wait to marry her, it's just I want her to have the best day and I don't want her to regret marrying me' Toni admitted. 'Why would she regret marrying you T? That woman loves you and Tommy more than anything and trust me that's really hard to find' Sweet Pea said. 'I don't know, I guess it's just the nerves' Toni said before the waitress thankfully interrupted them with their food. 'Trust me T, Cheryl's a keeper' Sweet Pea said throwing some fries into his mouth. 'I know that' Toni rolled her eyes with a smile. She loved that her brothers thought so highly of her fiancé, all she ever wanted was a family that cared for each other and now she does.

Like promised Cheryl had spent the whole day baking with Tommy, the kitchen was in such a mess but the redhead didn't mind, she'd clean it up after she had taken Tommy to bed. The rest of their day was spent watching movies on the couch, Tommy as always told the redhead everything she needed to know about every character even though she knew a decent amount about cartoons compared to when they had first met. 'Mama?' Tommy said lifting his head from Cheryl's arm. 'Yes sweetheart?' Cheryl said looking down but then the little boy went quiet. 'Never mind' he shrugged turning back to the movie. 'Tommy? What's wrong?' Cheryl asked, she could tell something was bothering him and she wanted to find out what it was. Tommy looked at her, he was hesitating Cheryl could tell so she lifted him on to her knee and gave him a moment. 'A girl at school said that when people get married they have babies' Tommy said looking at the redhead. 'I guess some people do' Cheryl frowned she wasn't really sure where this was going. 'Will you and Mommy have a baby?' Tommy asked next and Cheryl didn't know exactly what to say, she hadn't spoken to Toni about discussing future children with Tommy yet. 'I'm not sure, why?' Cheryl said carefully. His eyes moved from hers to his hands as he played with his fingers. 'Because she said if you have a baby, you won't love me the same because you didn't make me' Tommys bottom lip trembled a little and it broke Cheryl's heart.

The redhead wrapped her arm around him and pulled him closer to her chest for a moment before speaking again. 'Tommy look at me sweetheart'. Cheryl waited a few seconds until Tommy lifted his head and looked at her. 'I may not have been lucky enough to be there on the day you was born or the first few years of your life but you are my son, we chose each other didn't we? You chose me to be your Mama and I'm so lucky to have you as my son. So even if Mommy and I did choose to have another baby you would still be our first baby and we would love you both the same okay? Nothing will ever change that, you and your mommy mean everything to me, I love you both more than anything' Cheryl smiled with a tear threatening to fall from her eye. Tommy nodded, he looked so relieved and Cheryl wondered how long he'd been worrying about this for. 'I love you too Mama' Tommy smiled before leaning against her and getting back into the movie. Cheryl knew she'd have to have a conversation with Toni when she came home just so they were both on the same page but the redhead still couldn't help but ask the next question, Tommy always had to come first. 'Tommy, are you okay with me and Mommy getting married because if you're not...'. Cheryl didn't even get to finish before Tommy was cutting her off. 'I want you and Mommy to get married' he said simply but leaving no room for debate.
