"I haven't fleshed this out into a prompt really, but I had this thought of an ot3 that is villain/hero/reporter and for some reason all I can think is the villain "kidnaps" the reporter and the hero just exasperatedly shows up and says "we have a calendar (for dates, etc), you know?""

AU where the killing game never happened! Also, this is from September. Lmao

The Kisaragi Foundation had many functions in this despair-riddled world. They captured Remnants of Despair, rescued survivors, and answered distress calls. One day, they had a call from a global news station, the most reliable source of media for those that haven't fallen into despair.

Teruya answered the phone immediately. "Kisaragi Foundation, Teruya Otori. What seems to be the problem?" He recited, as was standard protocol.

"Hello, this is the Tokyo News Network. Nikei's gotten himself into trouble again, but we don't know if the one who caught him was an Ultimate Despair or not." The voice responded hurriedly.

Teruya knew Nikei very well, having worked alongside and was dating him with one other person ever since the Tragedy began. Nikei's talent as the Ultimate Journalist was important for collecting information, so he sent any information he could to any and all news stations and newspapers. Unfortunately, this made him a frequent target of the Ultimate Despairs that wanted to convert him or silence him. The news station said that they didn't know if the person was on the side of despair, but it was always best to assume that they were.

"Could you tell me what his abductor looked like?" Teruya asked while pulling out a notebook to write the description down.

"Um... He was blonde, I think. He was really fast and it was hard to see his face, but I know that he was wearing a cape and a hat. I think he also had some sort of propulsion technology under his cape, because he grabbed Nikei and flew off... I'm sorry, that's all I have."

Teruya internally sighed, not even bothering to write a description. He already knew who the culprit was this time. "I'll get him back in one piece, sir." He hung up the phone and grabbed his coat and gun. The gun wasn't necessary, but he took it in case he would be attacked by other people.

On the other side of town, at an abandoned warehouse, Teruya snuck in through a hole melted into the side of the building. The front and back entrances had long been buried by debris. He stepped into the warehouse and kept walking until he got to the back. What he saw forced him to hold back his snickers.

Nikei was tied to a chair with his hands behind his back and strong rope holding him in place. He was being cuddled by his blonde 'abductor' while the journalist resisted his attempts to do so. Teruya sighed and came out of the shadows, interrupting what was hilariously normal for them. "Mikado, what the hell." He deadpanned.

Mikado turned his attention from Nikei and stood up. "Ah, Teruya! How nice of you to join us! Lovely day, is it not?" He chirped. He whirled behind Nikei's chair with a flourish of his cape. "If you want a turn over here, then I am very happy to give you my spot-"

"Mikado, we have a calendar for planning this kind of stuff. If you want attention, you should talk it out with us, remember? We've had this talk." The Kisaragi Foundation member scolded. Mikado whimpered and shrunk behind the chair like a kicked dog.

Nikei decided at that moment to speak up. "So, are you guys gonna untie me or something? I kinda need to do my job." With Teruya's sharp gaze focused on Mikado, the wizard huffed and began removing the ropes.

When he was finally untied, Nikei quickly left the chair and immediately headed towards the exit. "You need a ride?" Teruya called.

"Nah, I've got it. By the way, you idiots really need to stop fighting over me. I mean, I know I'm hot, but I've got work to do." With those words, Nikei left the warehouse.

Teruya turned back to Mikado, exasperation clear on his face. "Alright, I love you, but you know the routine by know. I gotta arrest you for this."

Mikado turned around and placed his arms behind his back. "You know damn well I'm going to break out in less that an hour." He chuckled.

"I know." Teruya fastened the handcuffs and led the wizard outside.
