"Imagine your OTP, as adults, still go out trick or treating, all dressed up. Bonus bonus: One or both are already short and are often mistaken for being younger than they actually are. Now they can use that to their advantage."

For young adults, Halloween would normally be a time where they stay at home and eat candy while watching scary movies while the children trick-or-treat from door to door. However, the candy only becomes half-priced the next day, when the good treats are often sold out.
Kiyoka and Teruya walked out of the classroom together, both hoping to get something tasty at the convenience store before they went home. It didn't slip the merchant's notice that his girlfriend beside him looked less cheerful then usual.
"Hey, Kiyoka? Are ya doin' alright there?" Teruya asked. "Ya haven't been lookin' so well ever since we went into th' classroom."
Kiyoka sighed and let her small smile drop. "Today's Halloween, and my family's across Japan. Ryutaro and I always used to go trick-or-treating together, but I wouldn't be able to get home in time for that. Not to mention that he looks too mature now...and kinda dislikes me," she sighed.
"You an' your bro used to do that?"
"Yeah, he looked a lot more childish before his growth spurt. He'd pretend to be a younger kid and get the adults to give him lots of candy, and I helped him keep up the act and split the hoard of candy evenly when we got home." The girl chuckled to herself as she reminisced at the memories.
Teruya wanted to help her, but there was no way he could bring her brother's younger self here for her. He briefly considered asking Satsuki if she had any younger siblings, but suddenly remembered that she was the youngest sibling and quickly discarded that idea.
Suddenly, he came up with a plan. "Wait a sec, maybe it's possible to still do it this year! We just need costumes an' a wig!" he exclaimed.
"Huh? Whatcha planning, Ruya?" Kiyoka asked, amused by his sudden enthusiasm.
"I'm pretty small, so if I disguise myself an' use a different accent, we can do what ya did before!" Teruya explained.
"But we're Ultimate students, and our faces are known across Japan. How's this going to work?" she pointed out. "They'd recognize us at once...wait, that's what the wig's for. In that case, you'll need blue contact lenses too!"
"I know some makeup tricks, so only I need to be disguised," the merchant continued. "Ya just gotta pretend tha' I'm your cousin or somethin'."
Kiyoka's face lit up like a Christmas tree. "That's perfect! We'll get the motherload of candy in no time!" She took out her newer phone that her friends had gifted her, and she put in some scheduled reminders for herself. "I gotta finish the homework, so I'll have to go shopping later. I'll pick you up around seven, and we'll go to a crowded neighbourhood then!"
"Oh, that's right...what page was it in the workbook again?" Teruya nervously laughed. Kiyoka ended up sharing her notes and tips with him until they had to go their separate ways.

Later that night, Kiyoka waited outside of Teruya's off-campus rental house. When she texted him after finishing her homework, they decided to wear matching costumes while they were trick-or-treating. While she looked at the time in her car, she fiddled with the cape of her vampire costume.
Finally, Teruya came out of the house in his costume. Kiyoka did a double take when she first saw him: he wore a wavy wig the colour of her hair's orange lowlights, blue contacts to match her eyes, and some makeup created the illusion that his face was more narrow than it was.
"Hey, Kiyoka! How do I look?" Teruya called over, doing a small spin in his own vampire outfit.
"You look great, Ruya! We should start heading out now!" she replied, and he hurried to get into the car. Once inside, she finally drove off to find the neighbourhood she had mentioned earlier.
While Kiyoka was finding a parking spot in the neighbourhood, Teruya looked out the window and saw parents going house to house with their children. Determined to get more candy than the others, he reviewed how to act in his head.
Finally, the car stopped. "Alright, grab your bag! You ready?" Kiyoka asked as she stepped out of the car. "I'll carry the extra bags to save some time! Let's go to that house first!" She pointed to the closest house beside the car.
Teruya needed no encouragement to hurry over there with his girlfriend behind him. Clearing his throat, he rang the doorbell and waited anxiously for the door to open. Once the door opened, he called out "Trick or treat!" in a childish voice, hiding his dialect.
"Aw, aren't you a scary vampire," the middle-aged woman at the door cooed, dropping pieces of candy into his bag. When she looked up from him and noticed Kiyoka, she grew surprised. "You're that...that sniper girl that got into Hope's Peak, right?"
"Haha, yep! My little cousin, uh, 'Wakaiko', he wanted to go trick-or-treating, so I gotta help my family out," Kiyoka lied with a bright smile, and the woman cooed and put a couple extra treats into the bag because of how cute the 'family' was. "Okay, say thanks, Wakaiko!" she told Teruya.
"Thank you!" he called to the lady, and the two hurried back to the street together. Teruya turned to Kiyoka and quietly asked in his normal accent, "That name, 'Wakaiko' - did ya just name me 'young child'?"
"Sorry, I panicked!" the sniper whispered back apologetically. Teruya was used to his girlfriend speaking before she thinks, it had brought on many funny moments throughout their relationship. He decided that putting up with the embarrassing name throughout the night would be worth it for the haul of candy they were about to get.
At the end of the night, the two of them drove back to Teruya's house to inspect their bounty. Placing the large bags in the living room, Teruya breathed a sigh of relief from not having to help carry them from the car anymore.
"Wow, we managed to get four whole bags full!" Kiyoka remarked, smiling brightly as if she were being given a gift. "Come help me sort them, we should divide them as evenly as possible! do you have any candies you dislike? I don't like the green apple-flavoured ones!"
As Teruya went to sit beside her and help sort the candy they collected, he felt proud of himself for being able to both cheer up his girlfriend and share a hoard of candy with her too.
