"Supporting one of their younger siblings by going to one of their little league games and cheering them on"

"You got this, Matsui!" Karia called from the bleachers as the boy went up to bat.

Beside her, Yoruko was sitting down beside her and watching the game. "I really hope we don't get in trouble for this..." She muttered. She looked back up at her upperclassman. "Where's Suzuki? I thought that she'd come too?"

"Nah, Suzuki's still gotta go to class. You know how it is in grade school." The older girl smiled. "You look worried, as usual. What's got you down?"

"Well, I'm wondering if we're going to get in trouble for missing school like this." Yoruko answered.

"Pfft, those bastards have their heads shoved so far up their own asses that they'll hardly have seen us go." Karia assured, patting her underclassman on the shoulder. "Besides, what's more important? Having stress and forced independence of a corrupt education system hammered into your brain or having fun and making memories with your close ones?"

"Y-Yeah, I guess you're right." The girl smiled before looking back to the game. "Oh, that boy's going to start pitching now!"

The girls focused on the match as the boy on the other team pitched to Karia's little brother, who hit the ball and struck a homerun. Karia jumped up, still holding Yoruko's shoulder and began to scream along with the family members of her brother's team. "That's my bro! Keep running!" She cheered.

Yoruko cheered alongside her, trying not to look at her upperclassman as she had the smaller girl in a firm hug. The amount of blush on her face would make Karia laugh, so she tried her best to calm herself down and try to enjoy the game without thinking about the older girl too much.

But who was she kidding? Karia was always on her mind, as much as she hated that fact. She was grateful to her and wanted to be like her, even taking a hostess job to spend more time with her upperclassman. But in the end, she knew that she wouldn't be able to get her feelings out, and that they could never be.

As the crowd calmed down and the two girls sat down, Yoruko hardly noticed that Karia had redirected her to sitting on the older girl's lap.
