"Imagine person B is in a coma in the hospital. Person A visits them, climbs into their hospital bed, takes their hand and lays next to them. Person A then falls asleep next to them."
Once again, this is completely platonic/familial! I do not ship these two romantically, just with a mother-son dynamic! And I'm still not experienced with writing alexithymia, so I'm really sorry if I (most likely) portrayed it inaccurately!
Warning: injuries, hospital equipment, spoilers for sdra2 chapter 0 and chapter 6!

As evening fell over her laboratory, Kokoro kept typing on her computer, focusing on organizing her data from her digitalized emotions experiment. The Alter Ego program of her assistant, Mikado, was running smoothing and acting as if he were an actual human, if not a bit more eccentric.
Even so, the real Mikado had told her that the Alter Ego was originally made to find the person called 'Utsuro' that he wanted to see so badly. She had overheard him and the program discussing plans that would bring back their 'saviour' but from the sounds of their frustrated tones, it didn't seem that they were getting anywhere.
Speaking of, the psychologist hadn't seen either Mikados all day. With the Alter Ego, it was okay because she usually let him do whatever he wanted as long as she can keep a record on his data. But her actual assistant, on the other hand, was usually always in some part of the lab, mostly either working or sleeping.
Kokoro sat up from her chair, deciding that checking in on the hacker would elevate her concern, which she had just identified as such. She walked around the lab for any sign of the man, but couldn't find him. In her last option, she walked over to one of her computers and turned it on. "Alter Ego, are you there?" She spoke flatly, and the AI soon appeared on the screen.
"Greetings! What is it you wish of me, Mother?" The wizard spoke with a chipper tone of voice, his eyes shining with both excitement and hysteria.
"Do you know where your other creator is?" Kokoro inquired, having a nagging feeling that she should be prepared for anything with the emotions the program was showing.
"He's probably never going to come back, but you shouldn't worry. You have me for getting you money now anyways!" The Alter Ego chirped. "Father's in the hospital, most likely on his deathbed!"
Kokoro straightened up right away, taken aback by the news. Why and how did a gentle-faced hacker like him get into the hospital? The man carried a knife everywhere he went for self-defence, and he had gone out to convert Kokoro's money into cash. Had he finally ran into the wrong people?
"Wait, Mother, where are you going? Don't tell me you're going after my worthless father! Mother!"
Before Kokoro knew it, she was running to the door to head to the nearest hospital, ignoring the whines and shouts of the program. He was shackled to the computer anyway, so he wouldn't be able to follow her. She didn't know what emotions she was feeling at the moment, but she was too busy to care as she left the lab, locking the door behind her.

As Kokoro woke up from her nap at the computer, she looked up to see that the screen had been turned off. That was strange, she had specifically set the computer to that it wouldn't fall asleep and risk losing any work she might have done. What on earth happened there?
