"Picking strawberries or wild blackberries together during the summer when they're in season"

It had been a month since school had finally let out, and it was the perfect time for fruit to be ripe. Sora had planned on taking her partners on this trip for a while now, wanting to pick berries with them to make them into jams or use them in smoothies or any other ways they suggest.
"Come on, we're almost to the strawberry bushes!" The albino encouraged as Yuki and Yoruko raced to keep up with her.
"N-Not so fast, please!" Yuki yelped, almost tripping on a dip in the ground. He caught himself before he could fall and continued onwards.
Finally, the trio arrived at the strawberry bushes with their baskets in hand. "Please...never do that again..." The hostess panted.
"Oh, sorry guys. I guess I just got too excited." Sora apologized before looking back at the berry bushes. "Hey, look over here!"
The other two walked to their girlfriend's side and looked at where she was pointing. On the bushes, large red strawberries were hanging. The albino reached forward and picked one, inspecting it before putting it into her basket.
As they picked the strawberries together, Yoruko looked around a saw a bush with blackberries on it. "Are those blackberries?" She asked, walking over towards them. Behind her, Sora and Yuki got curious and followed the hostess to see what she was looking at.
Low and behold, many blackberries hung on the bushes, just like the strawberries. "I didn't know that this many were in season! That's awesome!" Yuki exclaimed. "We should pick them and add them to our baskets!"
"That's what we were going to do anyways." Sora chuckled, beginning her picking. "I wonder how much we're going to do we the fruit? Maybe make them into smoothies or jams or something?"
"Or we can eat them raw." The lucky student suggested.
"Or put them in a fruit salad!" Yoruko added chipperly.
As they continued to pick their blackberries and strawberries, the trio brainstormed ideas of what they could do with their bounties of fruit.
