I finished off my cigarette knowing that Sophie was going to need a few minutes to get herself ready. Despite the fact that she was trying to be someone that she wasn't to please me, she was always someone who took an excessively long time to get ready and I had assumed that that wasn't going to change, if anything it might even take her longer. I didn't rush to get inside, deciding that I would enjoy the nice day, but really that was an excuse so that I wouldn't run into Chris while I was roaming about my house. Thankfully we were out of here the day after tomorrow and Chris would be a constant tour bus away except for green room. However, I figured I could suck that up since he would most likely be sniffing out some girl to try to get her on the bus afterwards. At least it would preoccupy him from Sophie.

I was really hoping that taking Sophie to one of my favorite places today would let me reconnect with her in a good way. I had originally planned on just sitting on the rocks and looking out over the city, but Lauren's thought of bringing up Italy kind of sparked an idea in my head. I quickly pulled up the photos section of my phone, highlighting every picture of her and I together in Italy as I moved it into a folder making it easier for me to find them later. I was really hoping that going through our week together, and me reminding her of the things that I loved about her and spending time with her would really spark something in her, or at least get her on the right track of coming back to me. For the rest of the day, I was really counting on Lauren to step in just a little with the whole shopping situation. I didn't mind that she wanted to go buy new clothes at all, but what I did mind was the reasoning behind it.

"Hey Posty, what's up brotha?" I heard a familiar London accent drift towards me through the patio doors that led from my living room. I let out a deep breath, Dre being the last person that I wanted to talk to right now as I heard his footsteps getting heavier as he made his way across the slate stone patio towards me.

"Hey" I said, trying to keep my answers relatively short and uninterested so he would get the point, but not even knowing why I was trying since Dre never seemed to get the point.

To say that I was still blaming him for what had happened the other night was an understatement. I knew that there was someone behind me wanting to hook up with Brooke but I couldn't decide on who. However, knowing myself I'm sure that they didn't have to put in much effort after the initial introduction but that's besides the point. It was firmly grilled into my mind that if someone didn't set up the initial introduction that I wouldn't have gone as far as I did with her.

"Still upset about the party the other night" he said with a laugh, reaching out and grabbing my pack of Camels off the table. I glared at him out of the corner of my eye, he knew that I hated when anyone touched my smokes, and the fact that he just helped himself made my agitation towards him rise even more as I watched him place one between his lips, quickly lighting it as he threw the pack down in front of him.

"Yeah I guess you can say that" I said, leaning forward as I quickly pulled my smokes from in front of him and slid them into the pocket of my black basketball shorts, crossing my arms across my chest as I looked at him. "So what do I owe for this beautiful visit?" I asked him with a laugh, completely shocked that he was so oblivious to the fact that I wanted nothing to do with him right now.

"Just checking to make sure your doing okay" he said with a shrug, sitting back in the seat as he looked out over the mountains. Utah was never really Dre's cup of tea. He was more for the hustle and bustle of the warm LA atmosphere, constantly surrounded by what he would call beautiful women as he was thriving in his business. This was too laid back for him, to secluded, to quiet. He was always happy when he knew he only had to be here a few days before he could get himself either back to LA or back on the road.

I let out a laugh, running my left hand through my curls as I looked at him, my head tilted to the side as I give him my are you fucking kidding me look, which much to my surprise he didn't catch on to either. "I'm doing great, but shouldn't you be asking about Sophie?" I asked him. I knew he wasn't 100% into the whole arranged marriage situation, and Sophie was definitely not the girl that he had hoped I would end up with, but I also thought that he was going to give her a fair chance.
