Sophie's POV
We walked back into our suite after our brief stroll around St. Marks Square. It was breathtakingly beautiful on its own. Add the fact that I got to see it with Austin made it that much better.
"I'm going to grab a bottle of wine out of the wine cooler baby. Why don't you go get comfortable on the balcony" Austin said to me placing a kiss on my temple before starting to walk away.
"Okay, I'm just going to go change first" I smiled walking away from him and heading towards our lavish bedroom.
I opened my suitcase and started digging through the clothes I had packed. I had decided on a hunter green silky mini cami nightdress. I walked quickly to the bathroom to freshen up from the flight before making my way to the balcony to enjoy the remainder of my night with Austin.
I finished up with a thin layer of coconut body lotion before making my way outside. When I stepped onto the balcony, I felt my breath catch in my throat. There were candles lit on a long table scattered with red and white rose petals, a large vase filled with at least 2 dozen roses on the table and a comfortable outdoor couch with plush pillows and a blanket, soft music playing in the background. I walked over to the railing and looked at the stars, waiting for Austin.
Moments later I turned around to see him walking out with a wine bucket filled with ice, a bottle of freshly opened wine laying inside and two glasses. He set them on the table and walked over to me. He held out his hand that I laid mine in gently as he pulled me into him, his free hand resting on my lower back.
"May I have this dance Sophie?" he asked me, looking down at me with a small smile.
"Sure" I said sweetly resting my hand on his arm as he pulled me in close to him.
"You look beautiful baby" he said quietly as I closed my eyes enjoying the compliment in the moment.
"Thank you" I said quietly as I continued to let myself swim in a sea of romantic bliss.
He pulled away from me spinning me around, catching my lips with his when I came back to face him.
"Austin this is all so beautiful. When did you do this?" I asked still holding his hand loosely as we made our way to the couch.
He sat down and pulled the bottle of Italian Rosé out of the bucket pouring us each a generous amount.
"I had the hotel set it up while we were in the square. I'm glad you like it" he smiled sitting back and handing me my glass.
"I absolutely love it. Roses are my favorite, how did you know?" I asked with a smile.
"Don't you worry your pretty little head about that Sophie. I have my ways. I am a famous celebrity after all" he smirked.
I pulled both of my legs up under me on the couch so I was sitting on my knees. I ran my fingers through his always disheveled curls bringing my hand down to rest on his cheek. I leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
"No baby, your just Austin. The most amazing man in the world" I smiled sweetly.
"You know it's been a long time since anyone has only seen Austin in me Sophie. Posty always over shadows me and sometimes it makes me loose who I really am" he said turning his head to look at me, his eyes radiating with sadness that broke my heart in two.
"Does that worry you?" I asked, my fingertips gently grazing the tattoos on his arm.
"Okay before I answer, let's get in a comfortable position" he laughed setting his wine down on the table.
