Austin's POV

"Bro, what the fuck are you doing with all the alcohol man?" Dre asked as he saw me carrying the last box filled with the last few glass bottles of Jack and Tito's through my house.

"I'm moving them to the guest house" I said, not really caring to elaborate as to why I was moving it. Not like he'd give a shit anyway.

"So what the hell are we supposed to do tonight? Party over there or what?" he asked, holding his hands out to the side as he walked next to me, following me down the stairs as I made my way across the driveway.

I laughed at the fact that he didn't even care to ask why I was moving it, which I don't even know why I let it surprise me, but further solidifying the fact that he wouldn't have cared if I elaborated on the reason before anyway.

"I don't know nor do I care to be honest" I said as I walked up the few stone steps that led to my guest house. "Grab that door would ya?" I asked him as he swung it open to let me inside.

I walked over to the kitchen island and sat the last box down next to the other two I had brought over, looking over at Dre as I gave him a small nod. "Thanks man" I said, cupping his shoulder and giving it a squeeze as I started to walk away.

"Post what the fuck man" he asked with a laugh. "We supposed to walk all the way over here for a drink?" he asked.

"I guess if you want it that bad. If not there is always beer, you know it's a never ending supply" I laughed before heading back out the door to my house.

I was going to order food for myself and Sophie for when she came back, thoughts in the forefront of my mind to recreate our sushi night that I had horribly destroyed, but Lauren had told me that they were stopping at an olive garden to eat and Sophie had ordered me dinner. I walked back inside grabbing a beer out of the fridge as I made my way back towards my room. I felt like playing a little CoD before Sophie came back, maybe it would clear my head for our conversation.

I was playing for what felt like only a few minutes when in actuality it had been almost two hours, the way time flew by without me knowing, making me realize how much I had missed doing this. It was the one true activity that made me feel like me where I wasn't expected to be anyone besides Austin. I picked up my phone from the table next to me to see a message from Sophie.

Hey baby, I am almost home. Brought you your favorite for dinner.

So you mean you brought me you?

Well yes so I guess I brought you your second favorite for dinner.

How about you for dinner and my second favorite for dessert?

Or vice versa. Save the best for last.

I laughed at her last text, feeling a semi growing uncontrollably in my pants as I quickly fixed it. I loved this playful flirtatious side of my girl, between our morning together and whatever Lauren had done seemed to be bringing her out of the hole I had helped place her in. I licked my lips quickly, rubbing at the back of my neck as I started to type out my response.

Baby girl, if you are trying to turn me on, you're doing a damn good job.

Mmm really.... Let me see.

Her text nearly had my jaw scraping against the floor. I felt my face flushing red at her comment. Typically it was the other way around where I was the one making her blush, but damn how the tables have turned.

Baby girl aren't you with Lauren?

She's in the 7/11. I know I'm close but I just want a sneak peek at what's waiting for me at home.
