"Austin! Austin!" she yelled from the back of the bus causing me to pause while I was trying to feed Makayla--our twenty one month old that blessed us as a result of meeting each other at the club--the way she was yelling my name made my heart race. I quickly grabbed Makayla from her highchair walking as fast as I could to the back of the bus to see Sophie's eyes scrunched together in intense pain, her hand resting on her very pregnant stomach with the sheets soaked between her legs.

"Sophie baby, what is happening?" I asked her as I bounced a now nervous Makayla on my hip trying to soothe her while also trying to soothe my fiancee who I was almost certain was going into labor but I wasn't really good with this kind of thing so I needed to hear it from her lips just to be sure.

"I need to go, now!" she said, breathing heavy as she gave me a look out of the corner of her eye. "Austin!" she yelled, a small laugh trying to break through her screams as another contraction hit her hard.

"Oh right uhm" I said, becoming nervous. I wasn't around when Makayla was born, Sophie had told me to go do my show at the Vivent Arena her decision being based off of the rumors that the first baby is always late and sure enough when I went off stage for a break between songs my Dad told me that Jodie had to take her to the hospital. So, this was all new to me and the panic was starting to set in. I fumbled with Makayla in my arms, pulling out my cell phone as I quickly called for Jodie hoping that she would be able to watch the baby. Both her and my Dad had decided to come on every stop on tour with us the last month of our pregnancy in case Sophie had to go to the hospital, and I was never more thankful for their decision than I was right now.

"Austin? Is everything okay?" Jodie asked just as Sophie let out another loud groan as another contraction rolled through her body.

"Where are you? Sophie is going into labor" I said quickly.

"Tell her my water broke already and to hurry up" she said with a small laugh as she started to get herself off of the bed in between contractions, a now more distraught Makayla screaming loudly in my ear as I tried to juggle the three things that were happening right in front of me.

"Austin you are going to need to get one of the guys to watch Makayla, we are too far away. If you wait for us you'll be giving birth to Luke on your bed and I don't think either of you want that" Jodie said with a laugh clearly trying to cut the nervousness that was evidently hanging in my voice as I quickly nodded my head before I realized that she couldn't see the small gesture.

"Uh yeah okay I'll uh I'll call Adam" I said hanging up as I quickly called Adam, my gaze floating over towards her as I saw her pointing towards something in the corner, quickly remembering she had a bag packed just for this very day for several weeks. I grabbed it and slung it over my shoulder, walking back over towards her I wrapped my arm around her as I helped her walk towards the front of my bus when Adam finally picked up the phone.

"Dude please tell me you are close" I said nervously, trying to support Sophie as another contraction hit her almost making her double over on the ground. I wish I knew what I could do to help her but all I knew now was that I had to get her to the hospital or Jodie was right, we'd be having Luke right here on the floor of the bus.

"Yeah I'm over Swae's bus. What's up?" he asked with the same quickness as I had given him. That was the one good thing about Adam, he always knew when something was wrong and when he needed to help. I let out a sigh of relief as I heard noises that hinted towards him getting ready to leave the bus as I slowly started walking with Sophie again towards the black Escalade that were parked in front of the busses.

"Sophie is going into labor. I need you to watch Makayla while we go to the hospital until Jodie and Dad come" I said, the door swinging open as soon as I was about to reach for the handle to come face to face with a concerned Adam who immediately reached out to grab Makayla.
