Austin's POV
"Baby girl, wake up" I said to her softly, her position changing on me over the course of our ride, her head now laying directly in my lap and my arm draped over her torso. I pushed a stray piece of hair out of her face, a small smile showing on her lips at the feeling of my fingers brushing lightly against her skin as her eyes started to slowly drift open.
"Are we here?" she asked with a sleepy smile, her head turning to look up at me as I smiled down at her, the feeling that was going through me unlike anything I could ever imagine as I took in every beautiful feature of her perfect face.
"We are" I said with a chuckle, my hand slowly sliding off of her waist as she sat up next to me, her hands stretching out above her head as she let out a small groan, before bringing them down to rest in her lap, her head leaning against my shoulder as she let out a sleepy yawn.
"What's the plan for our first night alone together?" she asked with a small smile, the fingers of her right hand slowly moving over the fabric of my jeans as she kept her head firmly planted against my chest.
"I think we just see where the night takes us angel" I said to her in a quiet rasp, my cheek pressed against her head as I slowly ran my fingers up and down the length of her arm.
She nodded her head against me while we both waited patiently for Greg to pull up to the valet at the hotel, my door swinging open suddenly as I got myself out followed by Sophie. Our bags were already in his hands as he followed us into the hotel. Check in didn't take long, it wasn't the best suite that they had to offer but it had a private terrace which was exactly what I was looking for to bring the Italy feeling back to us. I grabbed her hand as we took a slow walk to the elevators, Greg politely asking if he should let us ride alone as I let out a small chuckle looking down at Sophie.
"You don't have to Greg but thanks" I smiled, putting a quick kiss on the top of Sophie's head, her arms wrapped around my waist and her head resting against my arm as we patiently waited for the elevator to arrive.
It was a quick and quiet ride, Sophie practically sleeping in my arms as she groggily walked next to me, Greg dropping our bags off at the door as I quickly opened it to step inside. It was a small suite, but it was just enough for us to be together. The time that I wanted to spend with her didn't require a suite with all the amenities. All it needed was a bed, bathroom and a private terrace and that was exactly what I got.
"Why don't you get changed baby girl and then we can sit out on the terrace for a little while until we are ready to go to bed," I said to her quietly, my lips pushing delicately against her forehead as she closed her eyes at the sensation.
"Okay baby. I'm sorry that I'm tired and I'm not going to be any fun tonight" she said with a shy chuckle, her lips pressing against my chin as I immediately wrapped her in my arms hoping to give her the comfort that she was looking for to make her feel better.
"Baby girl don't be sorry for being tired,
because shit I'm tired too" I laughed, pressing my lips to her temple. "I just want to hold you tonight, nothing else" I said to her quietly as she nodded her head, the both of us pulling away from each other with regret as we grabbed out some clothes for tonight.
"Austin" she said with a laugh as she turned around and held a red piece of lingerie in her hand. "I don't think either of our moods warrants me wearing this tonight. Can I just wear one of your shirts?" she asked with her eyebrows raised as I gave her a small laugh.
"Sure baby girl" I said, grabbing out my Insane Cat Posse t-shirt and handing it to her, watching with adoration for her as she slid it over her head, letting it rest over her tiny frame. "You look sexier in my t-shirts anyway" I said, giving her a wink as she rolled her eyes at me playfully.
