I slid out from underneath her, her tired body finally falling asleep as she was peacefully laying half on top of me as we watched Just Go With It. The air between us felt more normal since my confession to her, I wasn't expecting her to grab her trust and place it in my hand and surrender everything about it to me, but the fact that she was acting more like normal, even more so then she did this morning, was a strong inclination that given time she was going to be able to give all of her trust to me without worrying that I was going to shatter it to pieces again.

I slowly and carefully slid myself to the end of the bed, grabbing my joggers off of the floor as I slid back into them. I grabbed my pack of smokes off of the table and headed outside, taking a seat on the wicker couch that was outside of my bedroom. I put the small white cylinder stick between my lips, my lighter flicking lit as I inhaled the first glorious taste of nicotine as it traveled down my throat and filled my lungs quickly swirling through them before I exhaled it all through my nose.

I rested my back against the couch, my eyes glancing over in the direction of the guesthouse the party still in full swing despite the fact that we had to be on a flight at 9am to finish up the last few months of the tour. I took another drag on my cigarette, resting my head on the back of the couch as I blew out the thick cloud of smoke, my right leg gently moving back and forth slowly as I heard footsteps approaching me.

"Hey Post can we talk?" Cheryl's voice floated over towards me as I slowly moved my head in her direction.

"Hey Cheryl, sure" I said sitting myself up on the wicker couch so I could give her my undivided attention. "What's up?" I asked her, bracing myself for some kind of monotonous tour talk or even worse bracing myself for extra shows that they added in without even asking me like most other things they do.

"Not that it's any of my business but what the hell is up with you and Chris?" she asked as she sat down next to me, her body turning to face towards me letting me know that she wasn't leaving until she got an answer.

I let out a small chuckle as I took another drag of my cigarette, not really letting it have its full affect as I quickly blew the smoke back out. "I thought you didn't want to be involved" I said looking over at her as I leaned down and rested my forearms on my thighs.

"I still don't, but I have to travel with you two the next two months and I want to know what I am getting myself into before I board that plane tomorrow" she said. "And from what it seems it has something to do with Sophie" she said, a small smile tugging on her face as she tilted her head to look at me.

"Not just something, everything" I said to her shaking my head back and forth as I ran my left hand through my curls letting out a small chuckle. "Where do you want me to start?" I asked looking over at her.

She shrugged her shoulders as she looked at me letting out a small chuckle as she clasped her hands together in front of her. "Wherever to help me understand" she said.

I started talking to her and filling her in on everything that has been happening between Chris and I since I came back with Sophie from Italy. I didn't hold anything back from her as I told her everything he said about her and the things that he wanted to do with her, not surprised to see shock and disgust on Cheryl's face as I was explaining everything.

"Well, I guess I can't blame you for having a problem with him then can I" Cheryl said with a laugh as she looked at me with a sympathetic gaze.

"Yes and no" I said with a laugh as I finished off my cigarette, throwing it into the ashtray that was sitting on the table in front of us as I looked over at her. "I almost cheated on her Cheryl" I said as I shook my head back and forth.
