Gintoki was speeding on the road slopes; the car flew up in the air whenever it went up hill. Due to the impact of landing on the floor, the windows of the car shattered and went everywhere. "At this rate, Kondo-san will be assassinated!!" Shinpachi worriedly said.
Hijikata rubbed the side his arm, looking down at the car's floor, "It's none of my concern... It's none of my concern..."
"Hey, get a hold of yourself," you placed a hand on his head. It was an attempt to comfort him. "At this rate, you may lose all the people and things... you hold dear."
He turned to face you, fear written all over his face, "It's of no concern... It's none of my concern..."
"It's no use, he's scared to the bone."
"Gin-chan. What should we do?" Kagura asked.
He thought for a moment before speaking, "Kagura, patch us through to headquarters and all cars."
"Aye, aye, sir."
"Umm... Hello? Can you hear me you tax thieves?" Gintoki spoke through the radio, "I'm not sure if it's the Itō faction or the Mayonnaise faction... But I'm saying this to all of you tax thieves! Immediately leave your posts and go after the train that Kondo's on. If you waste time, your boss... Might be killed. Those who ignore this order... Will have to commit seppuku for not standing by their bushido."
"Is this a prank?! Who are you?!" someone shouted back.
"Who do you think you're talking to? Who am I?" Gintoki scoffed, "This is Shinsengumi Vice-Chief Hijikata Tōshirō, damn it!!" he slammed the radio back in its place. "I'm sick of seeing the cowardly face. This is convenient. If the Shinsengumi is going to disappear, you can disappear with them. I'll send you to your grave."
Hijikata leaned forward in his seat, "No way! I'm not going!"
Gintoki turned around and grabbed him by the collar. "I wasn't talking to you!!"
The car began to swerve on the road, yourself and Shinpachi being smushed against the door, "Kagura! Turn the steering wheel left!"
"Whatever you say, [name]-nee!" the girl reached over to the drivers seat.
"Hey, are you listening? Are you?" Gintoki continued to lecture Hijikata. "Don't retreat and shove your problems onto other people!! Are you the type that asks things of others? Are you the type that shoves the fate of your Shinsengumi onto someone else? If you're going to die, die while swinging your sword along side the things that are important to you!! That's who you are!!"
Yourself and Shinpachi looked at each other. The car then became silent until... "It hurts," Hijikata muttered.
"What?"
The Vice-Chief forced himself out of Gintoki's grip. "I told you, it hurts!!" he grabbed the silver-haired man's face and slammed his head into the radio.
"Could it be?" Shinpachi asked.
"Are you... back? Hijikata-kun?"
。。。
After a few minutes of more driving, you all had finally reached the train that the Itō Faction and Kondo were on. You were now the one driving the car-everyone else in the vehicle, including yourself had changed into a Shinsengumi uniform. You were driving the car on the road beside the train tracks, following the large crowd in front of you, which you assumed were from Itō's Faction.
Hijikata had a knee on the car roof, Kagura behind him and Gintoki sitting on the front of the car. Shinpachi, being afraid, was sitting behind you, with his head just peeking out of the window. "This is a raid!!" Kagura shouted.
