When you stumbled upon the sight of Shinpachi and Gintoki ripping out pages from the calendar, you were already ready to leave. "I seriously should not have even thought to come here," you were about to close the front door, but Kagura had popped her head up in your face.
"[name]-nee!" she tugged on your sleeve. "I was waiting for you." Before you could even ask what was going on, she answered it for you, "These two got dumped." That seemed to explain their behaviour. Silent, continuously sighing and ignoring your presence.
"Dumped? Since when did they have lovers?" you followed Kagura into their home and observed the boys.
"Shinpachi said that Ōtsu got a boyfriend and the TV just announced the weather lady's marriage," she jumped onto the couch and pat the seat beside her. You took her offer and sat down, making sure to teach her a lesson in the process.
"Remember my words, Kagura. Love is not worth all the suffering it causes," the girl furrowed her eyebrows at your words, unsure of what your words actually meant. She didn't think too much of it though; she was probably gonna forget it in the next few minutes. Soon afterwards, the doorbell had rung. "Did you have a client today?"
Shinpachi begrudgingly walked to the door and opened it, "We don't need any newspaper." He then blinked slowly at the ground before looking up to the person who rung the bell. "...Huh?!" It was Otsū-chan.

Thanks to the presence of the idol, both the tension and mood of the room had lifted-everyone seemed to be back to normal. The Yorozuya trio were concentrated on the girl as she explained her troubles. "Otsū-san, here's some tea for you," she gave you a nod and you sat down next to Gintoki.
"'Break up with the guy, or I'll kill you very much?'" Gintoki read the death threat towards Otsū. She was currently in a relationship with another celebrity and was worried that she would be in danger if she left it alone. "Is he writer of the witness note one of your fans?"
"Several letters like this have been sent to to my agency. It freaked me out, so I told my dad. He said you'd help me."
"The father of yours... Is he doing well?" Gintoki recalled the time he helped him out in previous episode-a previous episode that the author didn't write about.
"Yes. When I told him about these death threats, he lost it- threatened to break out of prison again."
"We'd better do something before your father does something stupid."
"So you'll help?!" she exclaimed.
"But, there's a problem with this," you spoke. "The list of suspects would have to be all of Otsū-san's fans, right? Wouldn't it be hard to pinpoint the exact target?"
"I have a feeling it's probably someone in the business," Otsū replies. "Ever since these letters started coming in, strange things have been happening around me. It... happens only at the TV station and on location." She thought back to all the things the culprit did, which included watching her change, ransacking her room and causing a stage light to fall on her. "No ordinary fan would have access to do these things."
"Break up with him," Kagura slurred as she chewed on her sukonbu. "Break up with him, and everything will work out."
"I-I don't want to. I can't imagine doing that. He's the only guy in the show biz who's ever been nice to me!"
"Bah! Guys are always nice to hot girls!" Kagura shouted as a matter of fact. "Hm... like, Gin-chan for example. He's usually nice around [name]-nee. Or maybe not. But that doesn't mean [name]-nee isn't hot!"
