Tsukuyo had brought the four of you to an empty household. You had assumed it was one of many Hyakka hideouts since no one was around. Gintoki had assisted you with wrapping bandages around your torso as the two kids sat down a few meters away. Tsukuyo stood outside the house, keeping watch of any movements.
"I'm sorry. If only I had let you go sooner..." she said. "Then [last name]-san wouldn't of-"
"There's no need to apologise," Gintoki replied, yourself nodding along, holding to reassure the woman of her worries.
"...Are you going?" Tsukuyo asked all of you, concern laced in her voice.
"If we don't go, Seita-kun will die," Shinpachi replied.
"If you go, you'll die too. There are four Yato. An entire army wouldn't be enough."
"I have to do something about him," Kagura pursed her lips.
"For whose sake are you going? Is it for Seita? Hinowa?"
Gintoki stood up after properly tying your obi. "I'm going out for a bit to get some sun. The same one that everyone's forgotten about... after living their lives out in this dump of a place. No matter where you are, no matter how scared you are, the sun is there. It's neither Hinowa nor Tsuji-chan's husband. Your sun... is often covered by clouds. But if you continue to watch the sky, it will eventually make its way through the clouds."
That's why... we must never lose sight of that. We must never stop staring at the sky. Stand up straight, watch the heavens, and continue to live your life. Tell everyone you see who looks depressed... to watch the skies. In this filthy, lead-coloured sky... we're going to put up a ridiculously huge sun," he held a hand up to you and lifted you up; Kagura and Shinpachi also stood up.
"Sorry, but I refuse," Tsukuyo told him. "Because I'll be going with you."
"We can't bring someone who belongs to Yoshiwara to fight against Yoshiwara," Gintoki spoke. "You'll become a traitor."
"I protect Hinowa. Not once have I sworn loyalty to Yoshiwara. For me, it is even more treacherous to stand by and watch Seita die. Besides... Instead of continuing to depend on others, I'd rather look for it myself... this so called sun you speak of," she turned around and smiled. She was glad that there were people who wanted to help save Yoshiwara.
"Tsukuyo-san, are you alright?" you tapped her shoulder, wondering why she had turned her back towards you. "Are you feeling sick? Maybe you should stay here and rest..."
"No, I'm fine," she turned around with her arms crossed against her chest. "I appreciate the concern, [last name]-san. But you should probably be more worried about yourself... you're... well, a bit more wounded then you think."
"I'm fine, this is like Sadaharu biting my head!"
"No! It's not!" Gintoki smacked the top of your head, angry that you were dismissing this huge injury like it was nothing. Tsukuyo just slowly nodded her head, trying to understand the relationship you two had-it was a bit confusing. Anyway, she needed to explain a few things...
。。。
Before you left the house, Tsukuyo had advised you all to try and blend in as Hyakka members. So, there you were, helping the Yorozuya put on a certain object- or you should say, two certain objects on their chests to look like breasts. (Of course, you had to place them on yourself too).
"Hehehe..." Kagura quietly chuckled to herself, "I finally reached my goal..."
"Kagura?"
"I didn't say anything!"
