Today was a lazy day for you. It was a bright and sunny day; you didn't have work nor any chores. So, you ended up spending your entire morning laying on the couch of your home watching whatever was on television. "Who knew doing nothing could be so boring?" you attempted to roll onto your back, but instead, you fell off the couch and landed on your face. "Ouch."

With you head still planted on the floor, you tried to brainstorm any interesting ideas you could do. However, there was really only one good idea. It was to visit the Yorozuya. Seeing Gintoki was not on your to-do list but it was better than nothing, right?

。。。

You honestly didn't realise how far the Yorozuya was to your home. Perhaps if it wasn't a twenty minute walk, you wouldn't of decided to visit them in the first place. Just as you were about to approach the two-storey building, a rice cooker or some sort had come flying out from the open doors of the snack house.

"H-Huh?! What the-"

"No! Not my precious rice!" Kagura-the girl you had recently met-ran out with her arms open, reaching out for the object. She stopped to pick it up and lifted up in the air as if it were a child. "It's okay, I'm here! Not that old hag," Kagura then halted in her actions and took a glance over to you. "Oh! It's [name]-nee!"

"You're really gonna stuck with that whole sister thing, aren't you?" you rubbed your head, "I guess I don't mind."

"Hey, hey," Kagura approached you and tugged on your sleeve a few times to get your attention, "Did you bring any more cake for me today? The last one you got was really good."

"Uh- Not this time. I'll bring some the next time I visit. How does that sound?" she nodded her head like her life depended on it. "So, are the others in the snack shop?"

"Yeah, the big meanies. They threw out the one thing I was eating from the store! What snack shop doesn't give a starving child free food? That's what I call a robbery!"

"I think you've got a few screws loose in your head, Kagura. Shall we go back inside? They might've magically got more food," she just grumbled to herself before dong something you weren't expecting, "...Why are you holding onto me like that?"

"I don't want to look at Gin-chan right now," you guessed kids will be kids. Kagura was still... wait, how old was she again? Wasn't she too old to be acting like a toddler? You tried to walk into the store, but having an extra weight on you made you look awkward. You managed to finally pop your head into the shop and greet everyone present.

"[name]-san! It's nice to see you again," Shinpachi waved your way, dismissing the way Kagura was holding onto you. "What brings you here?"

"Nothing really; I was bored and I thought I could kill time by visiting you guys." You took a glance around and noticed that Gintoki was seated at the bar with an annoyed expression on his face. He looked as if he was constipated. "Why the hell do you look like that? Aren't you happy to see me?"

"Not really; you're a pain to look at," he huffed and diverted his gaze to the alcohol on the shelves. You were about to Kagura at him, but an older looking lady had interrupted you before you could do so.

"Who's this?" She inquired, blowing out a puff of smoke from her cigarette. "Your girlfriend, Gintoki? Oh wait, who am I kidding? The time you get a girlfriend is when the world ends."

You let out a half-hearted chuckle, "I'm [last name] [name], and yes, you're correct. I'm not the loser's girlfriend."

"That's a relief to hear. It's nice to meet you, [name]-san. Call me Otose. I hope that you're not a nuisance like these three stooges. Now, about my rice cooker..." Otose looked at the girl around your waist.
