"Red bean buns~ Red bean buns~" A song erupted from your mouth when you bought the sweet treat; but then you stopped. "Did Gintoki say he wanted bean buns...? Or were bean buns something that he didn't want? Whatever." The Yorozuya were off at a clients house repairing the roof top and had asked you to bring them food for their lunch.
Surprisingly, you had just walked through the gates of the house without anyone realising-in other words, trespassing. But no matter, you had a job.
"[name]-nee! We're up here!" Kagura waved, a sparkly glint in her eyes when she saw the large brown bag in your arms. "What did you get us?"
You climbed up the nearby ladder to get to their level and placed the bag down, "Red bean buns!"
"You idiot! I said to get anything EXCEPT for red bean buns!" Gintoki smacked the back of your head.
"Shut up! Be glad that I actually got you something!"
"Gin-chan! You said that I'd become a woman if I eat more red bean buns!"
"Go cry and eat the buns!" Shinpachi shouted. The girl did so and let out crocodile tears and she chewed on her food.
"Geez, what conversation were you guys having before I got here? You're all a mess," you pat out the dust from Shinpachi's hair.
"You know, Aneue has been coming home late often. I'm just worried about her," he four-eyed boy replied.
"And I told you," Gintoki raised a brow, "she's doing some adult stuff. Stop being so obsessed with your sister, Shinpachi-kun. You and your sister, by law, can't get married. Now, it's your job as a younger brother to keep quiet and become a red-bean-bun making machine." You threw a roof tile at the silver-haired man's face.
"I'm sure Otae-chan has a reason for this Shinpachi. Besides, Otae-chan's a strong girl; I'm sure she's doing fine. Have a bun."
The boy took it and stuffed his mouth, "Dammit. Who... who the hell took Aneue... Could it be...?" Shinpachi stood up. "Kondo-san?! Don't tell me it's that gorilla?!"
You laughed, "As if that gorilla would stand a chance with Otae-chan!"
"I-I guess so."
"But... now that I think of it. I remember that Kondo-san had a meeting with a potential bride today. I wonder how that's going?"
[CRASH]
"Pri... Princess!" a man's voice shouted from the ground. "How did a roof tile...?"
Yourself, Kagura and Gintoki looked over the roof and saw a large gorilla in a pink kimono laying on the floor with a shattered roof tile near her head - surprisingly Kondo was there next to her as well, "Sorry. It slipped."
"Oh! There are two gorillas!"
After a while, the gorilla got back up with a new bruise on her head. The Yorozuya has finished with their job and Shinpachi went to go get the money. Yourself and the rest of the Yorozuya climbed off the roof and approached the two gorillas. "Hey, what're you doing here?" Gintoki asked.
You then gasped, "Kondo-san, is this your soon-to-be bride?!"
"Eh? Weren't popular enough with human girls, so now you've started going out with a gorilla?"
"That's going to far, Kagura. There are things you shouldn't even joke about. That's his younger brother or something."
"O-Oh! Hey, don't be so harsh. This is a pet. My pet."
"A pet?" you questioned. "She's like ten feet tall! Maybe even bigger than that!"
"She looked at me with doleful eyes at the pet shop, so..."
