Chapter 18 | What Would It be Like?

You awoke to the sound of Ahsoka's commlink beeping loudly.  You rolled over and shook Ahsoka gently to get her to wake up.  She yawned and stretched her arms before gabbing the beeping commlink.  She pressed the button on top as you snuggled into her back.  "Hello, who is it?"  she asked groggily, rubbing her eyes.  "It's Anakin, we need you down at mission briefing now!"  he said through the speakers.  Ahsoka shot up an ran to her cloths.  "Thank you, bye."  she said, turning it off.

She quickly got dressed and gave you a quick kiss and left.  "I hope it's nothing too big, we have the day off."  you sighed to yourself.  You stared up at the celling for a while and then got out of bed and took a shower.  The pain from your stomach had lessoned immensely over these past few days, so much so that you could now use hot water.  

Ahsoka came back just as you had finished putting on your robes.  You noticed she seemed very unhappy.  "What's wrong Soka?"  you asked.  "Hold me."  she whispered.  You did as she asked and held her tightly in your arms.  "Ahsoka, is something wrong?"  you asked.  "I have to go to Mon Cala in an hour."  she whined.  "Mon Cala, but we had a day off!"  you objected.  "Duty calls."  she responded with sadness filling her voice.  "I am going to miss you (y/n)."  she said.  "I am already missing you."  you responded sweetly.

"When I get back I will tell you all about it."  she promised.  You started to stroke her Montrals to calm her down.  The tactic worked again as her breathing became softer and she started to smile.  "On kiss before I go?"  Ahsoka asked, giving you her best puppy dog eyes.  "Ahsoka, stop making yourself cuter!"  you scolded jokingly, causing Ahsoka to let out an adorable giggle.  Ahsoka leaden in and kissed you long and hard.

Her wonderful lips would never get old.  You broke the kiss for air but placed your head on top of hers.  You stayed like this for a while before Ahsoka had to leave.  "I love you Ahsoka."  you said before Ahsoka opened the door.  "Love you more."  she smirked.  "Not possible."  you responded, giving her another kiss.  "Bye (y/n)."  she smiled at you.  "Bye Soka."  you replied, giving her a wave.

Since you still had the day off, you decided to explore Coruscant a little more.  Taking a speeder, you went down to the Coruscant underworld, getting many strange looks because of your robes.  After a while of this, you became tired of the attention and went into a clothing store.  Nobody was there to greet you so you strolled around for a bit until you found something you liked.  You had no clue what the latest fashion trends were, so you picked out something you liked.

You grabbed a pair of jeans, a white T-shirt, and a black jacket.  You changed into your new cloths and put the sufficient amount of credits on the front desk.  You left the store and continued to walk down the streets.  Two Twi'lek children ran past you and to their parents who hugged them tightly.  You smiled to yourself and your thought of Ahsoka.  Her wonderful smile and adorable giggle played in your head, making you grin even more.

You were thrusted back into reality as you walked into a Rodian.  "Watch it!"  he threatened, placing a hand on his blaster pistol.  "Sorry."  you apologized.  "You better be."  he grumbled, walking off.  Carful not to run into anybody, you continued your exploration of the undercity.  

"Death Sticks for sale! Anybody wanna buy Death Sticks?"  shouted a female Balosar.  You walked in her direction so she tapped you on the shoulder.  "Death stick, six credits a piece."  she offered.  "You don't want to sell me Death Sticks."  you said, waving your hand subtly.  "I don't want to sell you Death Sticks."  she repeated.  "You will go home and re-evaluate your life choices."  you said again, twitching your hand.  "I will go home and re-evaluate my life's choices."  she parroted, pocketing the Death Sticks and walking away.
