"So what's the big rush?"  Anakin asked.  You and him had recently been allowed outside your rooms, but were still not on good terms.  "The Jedi Council has called an emergency meeting."  Obi Wan informed.  "I can see it now."  Anakin sighed.  You walked aside Obi Wan, keeping your distance from Ahsoka and Anakin, which you assumed they were more than happy to do.  "Another long, boring debate."  he rolled his eyes.

"Would you rather they call you in to train younglings?"  Ahsoka joked.  "Are you crazy?"  Anakin responded.  Ahsoka looked about to say something before you were barraged by blaster fire.  You dove behind the same box as Ahsoka and crouched.  "Any idea where that shot came from?"  Obi Wan asked, dodging a blaster bolt.  Ahsoka scanned the area.  "A sniper. I see him up there!"  Ahsoka pointed at a roof.

"All right, here's the plan. Anakin, you flank him on the right.  Ahsoka and (y/n), you cover the lower streets.  I'm going after him."  Obi Wan informed.  You all ignited your lightsabers and rushed out from behind the boxes.  Anakin and Obi Wan jumped onto the two roofs and you followed Ahsoka as she sprint down the narrow street.

You saw several blaster bots shoot across the rooftops as you ran after the sniper.   "I lost him!"  Anakin shouted.  "Obi-Wan, do you have anything?"  he asked.  You and Ahsoka stopped running and looked up.  You heard a signal blaster shot, a scream, and then Obi-Wan's body falling down from the roof and onto a few boxes.  "Obi-Wan!"   Anakin shouted

Flashback

"Anakin started it, he said-." you protested.  "(y/n), there is no justifying your actions."  Obi Wan said.  "I know that each day you are becoming more powerful with the force, but you must learn to control your anger."  Obi Wan said sternly.  "I didn't start that fight!"  you said, knowing full well you did.  "(y/n), I am not your Father but-."

"Then stop trying to be, just stop lecturing me please!"

End of Flashback

It dawned on you that those were the last words you may ever say to Obi Wan.  You and Ahsoka rushed over to his side.  You felt desperately for a pulse, but were filled with the realization that he was gone.  Both your and Ahsoka's eyes began to water, but you were the first to break down, overcome with the guilt.  Anakin rushed over and shook his friend.  "Obi Wan!  Obi Wan!"  he screamed.  The sirens of the police and ambulance grew louder with each passing moment.

A good friend was gone.  A mentor was gone.  A teacher was one.  A student was gone.  He was gone.  Obi Wan Kenobi was gone.

You and Ahsoka sat on a bench outside the hospital, the first time you had been together in weeks.  You sat silently for a moment, until the silence was broken by the sobbing of Ahsoka.  Your own eyes teared up, but you stopped yourself from crying again.  " I cant forget the last thing I said to him."  you whispered.  Ahsoka sniffled.  "Hold me."  she requested.  You did as she asked and wrapped your arms around her.

You had missed this, the warmth of Ahsoka.  Under any other circumstance, you would have been joyous, but now, you only felt guilt and pain.  You gently stroked her montral's to calm her down.  Eventually, her breathing became less ragged and the crying ceased.  Ahsoka let go, aware at what was happening.  The second she let go you sprinted to a nearby restroom.

You stood in front of the mirror and looked at yourself.  The black eyeshadow was smudged and faded, but was still visible.  Your hair, which you had recently dyed the darkest black you could find, hung below your left eye.  "What am I?"  you whispered.  You turned on the faucet and washed your face.  You drenched your hair in cold water and got rid of the hang and reverted back to your original hairstyle.

You had not seen yourself like this for a long time.  It was time to make things right.  You walked back up to Ahsoka who gave you a confused look.  You cleared your throat.  "I'm so sorry Ahsoka.  I was mad and lost and didn't know what to do.  I justified hurting you because you hurt me, but I don't care about that anymore.  I am sorry for everything Ahsoka.  I am an unworthy friend."  you choked.  "I'm not asking for forgiveness, just you to know I'm sorry."  you paused.  "I just want my Soka back."  you finished.

She looked at you for a moment, stunned at what you said, before engulfing you in a hug.  "I have done terrible things too."  she confessed, breaking the hug.  "I forgive you."  she said, eyes still wet.  A small tear fell down your cheek.  "Lets go home, I think Anakin needs to be left alone for a bit."  you wiped your eyes.  Ahsoka nodded.  "I feel so sorry for him."  she looked down.  "I do too."  you sighed.

You and Ahsoka walked up to the 212th's barracks.  Despite how close you were to Obi Wan, you ad never been inside.  The walls were lined with bunk beds and a few cargo crates acted as chairs and tables for a few clones.  You saw Cody sitting with a few clones who were playing scabac.  "Cody."  you cleared your throat.  "Don't worry boys.  I will be back in a few minutes to beat you."  he joked, standing up and walking towards you.  "Commander, we have bad news."  Ahsoka sighed.  Cody looked concerned.  "Obi Wan was shot and killed by a sniper."  she barley finished.

Cody looked down.  "Oh, I see."  he said.  "I will inform the rest of the 212nd."  he sighed, turning away and walking back to the table.  He talked to his brothers for a minute, and they soon hung their heads low just like Cody's.  "Ahsoka."  you said, getting her your attention.  "There is something I need to tell Barriss."  you sighed.  Ahsoka nodded.

You knocked on Barriss's door and waited.  It opened and Barriss stood at the entrance.  "Barriss, there is something I need to tell you."  you said, fully confident you were making the right choice.  "I heard about Obi Wan, I am so sorry."  she said.  "NO there is something else, this relationship isn't working."  you said.  "Wait, but!"  Barriss pleaded.  "I used you as an object for revenge, I shouldn't have done that."  you apologized.  "But don't you love me?"  she asked.  "No, but we can still be friends."  you pointed out.  Barriss didn't answer and closed the door.  You had expected that reaction from her.

Ahsoka ran up to you.  "How did it go?"  she asked.  "Fine."  you smiled, pulling her into your room.  "Ahsoka, can we be together again?"  you asked, touching her hand hopefully.  She lit up with the brightest smile you had seen on her.  "Yes."  she responded, throwing herself back into your arms.  You both cried, both from happiness and also sadness.  "Should  we go to his funeral?"  she asked.  "Yes, one last time, I whish to see him."  you whispered.  "That's what I was thinking too."  she said, griping you tightly.  You both weren't letting go, and you never would again.

Darth Sidious POV

I growled in frustration.  My plan was failing.  (y/n) had gotten back with Tano, I would have to change many things.  Given enough time, the betrayal and hatred would have taken over him, making converting him and Skywalker to the Dark Side easer, but now It may not be as simple as I had hoped.

Never before had something gone this wrong before.  I implanted voices and dreams in the young boy's mind and her still resisted it.  (l/n) was no extraordinary force user, he was a child.  His only intrigue was his potential Dyad with Tano, but now, I would need to change a great many of things.

Despite this setback, it was quite amusing to watch the Jedi grieve over the "loss" of Kenobi.  He was of course alive and well, but what he was up to was still a mystery to myself.  I must give my complements to the Council.  This was one of few rare occasions they were able to hide anything from me.  In time, I will find out, but until then, I can only assume his plans.
