I lost track of how long I had stayed by the coffin. Staring at my beautiful mother, trying to remember every small detail about her. At the moment her face was neutral, free of wrinkles and worry. Her pale skin gleamed in the soft fluorescent lights.
"You've been standing here a while." Callum comments.
"I don't want to take my eyes off of her."
"She's going to be ten feet under the ground soon. What does it matter now?"
I snap my head away from my mother briefly, feeling pain at the loss on contact. "Because she's my mother!"
"Jesus calm down."
"You wouldn't understand. Your mother is still alive and well." I dismiss.
He comes closer to me. "Then how about you show me how you feel?" He whispers in my ear, his right hand squeezing my ass cheek.
"Please don't touch me," I try to back away, but his body stops me.
"I think you need to realise that you shouldn't kill your mother."
"I didn't mean to! It was an accident." I almost cry out.
"Come with me Abbie," He warns.
Frantically, I look around for Mason or my dad. Mason was still by the doors of the church, nursing a large beer and looking away from me. My dad was staring at me intensely. I silently mouth 'help' towards him, but he turns his back to me. My heart drops.
"You wouldn't want to cause a scene now would you Abbie?"
Silently, I follow behind Callum. Erratically looking for a way out but to my dismay, there isn't.
The door to the disabled bathroom looms in the distance, I silently beg for someone to go inside.
The click of the lock tears into the silence, sealing my fate to come.
"Don't you dare scream, Abbie." He demands. "Or do you want me to gag you?"
I quickly shake my head and cower in the corner, there had to be a way out of this.
Time felt like it was moving slower, or at a standstill the whole time. Tears silently streamed down my face, but I didn't dare to make a sound.
Finally, Callum finishes. I choke on his semen which causes it to go everywhere.
He slaps my face. "Stupid girl, you were meant to take it all."
I quickly rush over to the toilet and start throwing up. I couldn't believe that I had stooped that low and allowed this to happen. When the sick ceases coming up, I slowly ease my head away from the toilet bowl and lean my head back against the wall. I was in dire need of a glass of water to wash out the taste.
"If you tell anyone about this, I will kill you." He warns. "They probably wouldn't believe you anyway. Seeing as you're a murderer."
I couldn't get any words out; they were stuck in my throat.
"I take that as you understand." He says before leaving the bathroom.
Willing my legs to move, I quickly crawl over to the door and lock it before anyone else enters. I felt disgusting and needed to shower desperately to get the feel of Callum off of me.
I'm not sure how long I spend lying on the cold tiles of the bathroom, silently sobbing but a harsh knock sounds at the other side of the door.
