My office was crammed to the brim with my brothers. All eager to help bring Abbie back and shut down Pavel's plans. I wasn't stupid, I knew Pavel was trying to get me caught by the FBI which was why I was making alternate plans for him to receive the drugs.

"I assume that everyone is present," I say, taking note of everyone that was here. Dante was the only person not to appear and it made the room feel empty even though there wasn't anywhere for anyone to move.

"I made sure everyone turned up, it was important after all." Ryder comments.

I send Ryder a curt nod in appreciation and stood up so everyone could see me. "As you are all very aware, Abbie has been taken and I need all of your help in getting her back."

All of my men stayed silent, not daring to say a word. They knew better than to interrupt me talking.

"Pavel has made us an offer, something we cannot refuse. We shall be handing our drug supply over to them tomorrow evening."

"Are you crazy?" One of my men pipes up.

Maybe I was wrong. They didn't know better.

"And why would that make me crazy?" I cock my head, slowly walking towards him.

As I got closer, I noticed that his pupils were dilated, and his breathing was rapid. He was obviously high.

"We- We can't get rid of it." He starts to stutter. Panic slowly starting to flood into his features.

"Dom, are you high?"

"Fuck you." He responds, saliva landing on my face.

I immediately reach for my gun, cock it, and shoot a bullet straight into his skull sending his brains flying all over my brothers and the walls. They stayed silent and in place, knowing it would make things worse if they intervened.

"Does anyone else want to tell me what I should and shouldn't do?" I break the silence.

No response comes from anyone, and I smirk in victory.

"Of course, this isn't going to be a straightforward plan. This is the Russian Bratva we are talking about." I start to walk between my men. "Pavel will most likely tip the FBI which is going to cause a lot of trouble."

"Then what are we meant to do?" Another one of my men interrupts.

I stare him down intensely and my gaze falls to his cut. Brand new and missing a few patches, an obvious sign that he was newly inducted. I had been so busy with moping about Abbie that I had forgotten all about new brothers coming to join us.

"What's your name?" I slowly walk towards him.

"Lucas, sir." He replies, fear shining in his blue eyes.

"Well, Lucas." I calmly start. "It seems that you have a lot to learn. When I am talking, you don't interrupt me- "

"I'm sorry." He quickly interjects.

I cock my eyebrow in amusement and his cheeks tinge red. Lucas had a lot to learn and controlling his emotions would be the utmost priority. I couldn't have him blushing like a fucking schoolgirl every time he did something wrong. It almost makes a mockery of the club.

"When did you get inducted?"

"Two months ago."

"And who has been showing you the ropes?"

Whoever it was had done a terrible job so far, he clearly knew absolutely nothing about anything going on here. Did he even know about Abbie before this meeting? Hushed rumours were always going on between my men these past few months. I even had a suspicion that someone would try and take over the gang if I didn't step back up to my usual self.

"Nobody." Lucas quietly admits, almost ashamed.

My head snaps away from his embarrassed face and I narrow my eyes at my men. "Is this true?"

Nobody utters a word, and my blood starts to boil. Ultimately it was my fault for slacking so much but Lucas shouldn't have been neglected by all of my men.

I look back at Lucas and his worried gaze. "I will make sure someone helps you. Nobody should have left you to figure shit out yourself."

"Thank you." He awkwardly replies.

"Anyway." I immediately change the subject. "We are going to need to outsmart Pavel, something that will completely throw him off guard. We're going to send off our shipment of drugs to one of their safe houses and tip off the FBI."

Sadistic grins plaster on all of my men's faces apart from Lucas. It would take a lot of time for him to get used to all of our mannerisms but soon enough he would fit in no problem with us all.

"Ethan and Michael, you're both in charge of sending our drugs to the safe house," I instruct and they both immediately leave the room.

"Evan, I want you to send a tip to the FBI. Make sure it's sent after the shipment has been delivered. We don't want to give them time to hide it."

It was important this plan was meticulously thought out and planned through. Even a small kink in the plan could make everything go wrong.

"Everyone else, I want you to find out every safe house location the Bratva have in the states. It's key we have every location possible."

All my brothers start to scatter out of the room and my gaze snaps back to Lucas again, looking like a lost puppy. Where did they even find him?

"Lucas," I call out, his weary eyes facing me. "Come here."

Lucas shuffles his feet over to me, unsure of what I wanted.

"What do you specialise in?"

"I'm a good hacker."

"Then you can join Evan in his office. He can show you everything you need to know."

"Okay, sir."

"Drop the 'sir' act. Nobody calls me that around here. Follow me."

I leave my office for what feels like the first time in years and make my way over to Evan. As expected, he had already started working, making an encrypted message for the FBI.

"Evan," I grab his attention. "Lucas here says he's good at hacking so I'm going to leave him with you if that's okay."

"Sure man." Evan immediately agrees and faces Lucas. "Come take a seat."

Lucas' face immediately warms and he heads straight for the chair. They both start making conversation, so I leave them to it, heading back to my office.

"You've thought this out well." Ryder comments, still sat in the same chair.

"I have, I need to know that she's safe."

"You don't know how Pavel is going to react to the FBI busting his safe house. What if he takes it out on Abbie?"

"He won't." I curtly reply. "She's pregnant with my child."

"Pavel doesn't care about children; he would kill it without a second thought."

"He won't" I bash my fist on the table. "I know he won't."

"I hope you're right." Ryder leaves the room, shutting the door behind himself.

I was certain that Abbie wouldn't be harmed. Physically that is but there was still a strange nagging feeling deep down.
