Yoongi - mine, forever

Today was the day every girl dreamed of. Their wedding day. I was about to marry my soulmate. Yoongi and I went to high school together and we started dating in our college years and then 6 years into the relationship we got engaged. We were waiting for the right time to get married and since we were now settled with our house and our jobs it was perfect timing to tie the knot. I was a bit nervous but I knew the minute I saw his face they would go away.

"Sweetie, you look beautiful"

"Thank you mom. You look like wonderful"

"I try my best. Your father should be here soon"

"Ok. Can you help me do my dress up please"

"Absolutely. You're all grown up. I remember you would tell me about your dream wedding and here you about to make it come true"

I could see the tears in her eyes ready to fall. I turned around and gave her a hug just as my dad walked in.

"My beautiful ladies"

"Hi dad"

"Are you ready?"

"As I'll ever be. Does Yoongi look handsome? What the heck of course he looks handsome"

I linked arms with my dad as my mum left to take her seat with my aunt. I gave my dad a smile as the music started and the doors opened. My head lifted up and my eyes immediately looked at the man that was standing at the other end. His back was facing me wanting to be surprised by seeing me. His brother was stood to the side of him giving him a reassuring smile. I could feel my heart beating like crazy. This was it. I'm becoming a wife. I'm becoming Min Y/N.

"Y/N if you would start first please"

I took a deep breath as I head Yoongi's hands and looked him in the eyes.

"Where do I start? I remember when I met you in high school and the thing that made us click was we had the same dream of making our own music. You had a bit more passion than me as I couldn't get my head out of those damn study books. Then came college and somehow we were still best friends despite our completely different personalities. You were the only person, besides my parents, that I could trust with anything. You made me become even more passionate with music and I remember those late nights where we would stay up late in the backyard of our shared house making music. Your passionate and caring personality was made me fall in love you. I had doubts because I didn't want to ruin the friendship, but then you returned the same feelings and I felt better. I am forever grateful that you became my best friend to my boyfriend and now my husband. Thank you for being you"

Yoongi's thumb wiped away the tears that had fallen as he smiled at me before starting his vows.

"I never though I'd be the type of person to find love or even get married. But then I met you. Like you said you started off as friends and turned into something more. I remember sitting in my bedroom being nervous to ask you to be mine, but I'm glad I did otherwise we wouldn't be here today. You brought out a whole new person in me I didn't even know I had. I remember telling you about my passion for music and you listened to everything I said and I adored that about you. You've made me the happiest the man alive and I can't believe I get to marry such an amazing woman like you. I promise to keep loving you until the I die"

"It is with great pleasure to announce you husband and wife, you may kiss your bride"

I smiled before I felt myself being pulled closer and Yoongi's lips touched mine. It felt like it was Yoongi and I at the venue. It was blissful.

Everyone was dancing around the floor with big smiles on their face as I sat in my seat at the head table drinking my wine.

"Why isn't my beautiful wife dancing?"

"Because I wanted to dance with you"

"Well then shall we?"

"We shall"

He held his hand out and I grabbed it and stood up as we made our way to the dance floor.

"It's now time for the first dance"

The song started as we swayed back and forth around the floor. I couldn't stop staring at his eyes. They were sparkling amongst the lights. I smiled as he placed his forehead against mine.

"You're mine, forever"

"I'm yours, til death do us apart"
