Jungkook - rainy memories

It had been raining lately in the city of Seoul which meant I couldn't go out for my daily walks. I like watching the rain fall against the window it gave me some sort of comfort and it reminding me of the time I met my boyfriend of 4 years, Jungkook.

~ flashback ~

I had just finished my shift at my clothing store. I owned the store so I was always the last one to leave as I had to make sure everything was in their safe places before leaving. I locked the door and opened my umbrella. It was sunny when I left this morning but it had been raining for the last 2 hours and I don't think it was going to stop anytime soon.

I made my way to the local café just down the road and ordered some food as I was too tired to cook when I got home. I exited the café and started to cross the road when I was suddenly pulled back and collided with a chest. I looked up and saw a young looking man, round about my age. He was dressed in a suit with a briefcase and his own umbrella.

"Are you ok ma'am?"

"Yes thank you. I didn't even see a car coming"

"Next time be safe"

"I will. Thank you again"

"No worries. Ooh let me introduce myself, Jeon Jungkook. Why would a pretty lady like you be out this late?"

"Lee Y/N and I manage my own clothing store just down the road from here"

"Wait, you're the girl that runs that store?"

"Yeah, is it a bad thing?"

"No, that's where I buy my shirts and jeans from"

"Thank you so much

We spoke for a few more minutes before we exchanged numbers and went our separate ways.

~ end of flashback ~

I smiled as the memory flooded my mind. The rain had slowed down a bit as the sun was peeking out from behind the clouds. I clutched my tea closer to my chest as it warmed my hands up. Jungkook had been at work nearly all day and I was missing him bad. I did have work today but decided to let everyone have the day off since we had been busy and almost all the shop had been sold out.

"Baby"

"Koo!"

I ran up to him and jumped up wrapping my legs around his waist.

"How was work? Did anyone give you trouble?"

"Nope. Plus if they did I'd just fire them. I am the CEO anyways"

"You sound hot when you say that"

"What did you do today?"

"I let everyone have the day off work and I've just been enjoying watching the rain fall against the window"

"Sounds relaxing"

"You are welcome to join me after you freshen up"

"Ok. Baby, could you make me some tea aswell"

"Sure Koo"

I walked into the kitchen and heat the tea up again before pouring it into the mug for Jungkook. I walked back to the window seat and sat down with the two cups just as Jungkook came down and sat opposite me. He was dressed in sweats and a woolly jumper.

"Thanks for the tea"

"Welcome Koo"

"So what else did you do today?"

"I thought about some rainy memories that brought a smile to my face"

"Ooh what memory was it?"

"When we met. Remember pulling me back from the car"

"Yeah. And now everytime we got out you look both ways twice"

"Sometimes I don't do it just you so you can pull me back like that day 5 years ago"

"What other memories were there?"

"Ooh that time when we went out for dinner and it was nice and warm when we left the house but when we came out of the restaurant it was pouring with rain and there was a small bit of thunder too"

"And you had that pretty dress on so I covered you so it wouldn't get ruined"

"I still have that dress. What's your favourite rainy memory"

"I'll go act it out for you. See if you can guess it"

"Ok"

He walked towards his raincoat and grabbed something out his pocket before hiding it behind his back. He held his hand out for to grab and stood me up and started dancing with me, even though there was no music.

"Koo, there is no music"

"We don't need it. Just relax and enjoy the moment"

"Ok"

He took a step back and twirled me out and as I turned about he was on one knee with a ring box in his hand.

"Lee Y/N, I don't know what i did you deserve a girl like you but whatever the reason is I'm glad I saved you that day from the car in the rain. I'm glad you said yes to that coffee date the next day. Most importantly I'm glad you said yes to being with me and living in this wonderful house with me. I can't imagine my life without you. You made me the luckiest man alive. So Lee Y/N will you please marry me?"

"YES!"

I ran up to him and jumped up on him wrapping my legs around his waist as I pulled his closer to me.

"A thousand times, yes"

We pulled back as he placed the ring on my finger.

"Wait here, I have a surprise too!"

I ran into the bedroom and grabbed the little bag that held the surprise and quickly walked back to Jungkook who was now sat back at the window seat.

"Here you go!"

I placed the bag in his hand as he looked at me before opened the bag. There was a stack of tissue paper that he to unravel, but he soon got to the surprise.

"A baby?"

"Yep. I found out two days ago. I was waiting for the perfect moment and well this moment was just perfect to do it"

"We're gonna be parents Y/N!"

"I know. Maybe this can both our favourite rainy memory from now on, unless it rains on the wedding day or the birth of our child"

"I love you, Y/N"

"I love you more, Koo"
