Taehyung - be mine

There was something about the way he smiled, sang, danced and did things in general. We have been best friends since high school. We made through the first half of college and we're currently on summer break. The first week consisted of resting and catching up on sleep that was missed due to studying and some partying. The second week was the first summer party, beach trips and the carnival. Now we're with our group of friends heading to Jeju island for a week. I was sat next to Su-hi as the plane took off. Taehyung was sat next Jimin as the spoke about whatever.

"What do you think about Taehyung?"

"Huh?"

"Don't you think he's handsome. He's totally my type"

"Oh cool"

"Does he have a girlfriend?"

"No"

"Even better. Wish me luck"

"Umm good luck"

She got up from her seat and walked over to where Tae and Jimin were sat. I looked out the window as I felt someone sit beside me.

"Hey"

"Oh hi Jimin"

"Su-ji practically kicked me out of my seat. I never knew she had a thing for Tae"

"Good for her"

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm good. Just tired. Wake me up when we are near"

"Will do"

I felt someone shaking me as a slowly opened my eyes. I sat up as I saw Tae in front of me.

"Hello"

"Hi"

"We just landed. Your bags are in the car already"

"Thanks"

I stood up and grabbed my phone before walking off the plane and sitting in the car. I watched as Taehyung got in the car getting ready to sit next to me.

"Tae! Come sit here!"

Su-ji had a smile on her face as she patted the seat next to her. Tae looked at me before I looked towards the window. I don't know why I'm feeling somewhat jealous, he's just my friend.

After what get like hours we arrived at the house we had rented out for the week. My room was opposite Tae's and Jimin's was next to mine. I started to unpack my stuff in the draws and the closer before there was a knock on the door.

"Come in"

"Hey!"

"Hi Su-ji"

"Is it ok if Tae and I skip the first meal together. I want to take him out"

"Do whatever"

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Can you leave I would like to finish unpacking?"

"Oh sure. See you later"

My heart broke as she left the room. A tear fell down my face as I continued unpacking before heading out to the kitchen to get some food. Everyone was sat there with food already as I noticed Su-ji feeding Taehyung.

"Oh hi Y/N. I'm sorry there wasn't enough food cooked. Did you want me to make you something?"

"It's fine Jimin. I can do it"

I looked in the cupboard and found some ramen along with an egg, some chicken and kimchi. I started cooking my food as I listened to the conversations happening.
