Taehyung - accident

"Are you coming to the company later?"

"Yes, I am not sure what time I will be there as I got to drop by mom's house, but I will message"

"Alright, please be safe and feel free to bring Yeontan with with you"

"I am taking Tan to my mom's as she said she will watch him for the weekend"

"Ah, I love you. I will see you soon"

"Love you"

We ended the call as I locked my phone. Taehyung has always been the protective type. We have been married for 2 years but only went public with the marriage last year on our one year anniversary. People were supportive, but there was those lurking in the background leaving the mean comments. Tae made sure I didn't see them but even so they never bothered me.

I sorted out the bag packed with food and ensured that there was enough food for the boys, knowing they would be hungry. I placed Yeontan's lead on him as we made our way to the car. He happily sat in the passenger seat and curled up falling asleep to the movement of the car.

Not long after we arrived at my mom's house as I pulled up on the driveway. My mom didn't live that far form Taehyung and I so it was easier to leave Yeontan with her at times. I typed in her passcode and walked in.

"Eomma! I am here"

"Just a moment"

I heard pots being put down before my mum appeared from the kitchen with a smile on her face. I placed Yeontan on the floor and let him run around her living room. I gave her a hug as she guided me to the kitchen to sit down with her at the table. She poured me a cup of tea before sitting down opposite me.

"How have you been?"

"I'm fine eomma"

"How about my son-in-law?"

"He's amazing. He is at the company at the moment. I'm dropping by after leaving here"

"Did you bring some food for him?"

"Yes I did. It's in the cooler in the car"

After a couple of hours I said bye to my mum and Yeontan before getting in my car and heading over to Hybe. It was early evening so the streets were a lit busy due to those heading home from work. Luckily, the road I took was quiet and lead me to the parking lot of Hybe. My phone rang so I answered it through bluetooth.

"Hello"

"Honey, are you on your way?"

"Yeah I should be about 20 minutes. I will message when I am parked up and in the lobby"

"Alright, I will send someone down for you when you arrive"

"OK. I will see you shortly"

We said love you before hanging up. As I pulled up to the junction I noticed it was closed off due to road works. I groaned knowing if I took the main roads I would get caught up in the traffic. I quickly messaged Tae and informed him. I turned left and headed down the alley way towards the main roads. The light turned green as I drove forward. I heard another car beeping but before I knew another vehicle crashed into the side of me as I flipped over before blacking out.

Taehyung's p.o.v

She wasn't picking up the phone or answering text messages. It's been over an hour and she still hasn't arrived at the company. I called her mum but even she confirmed she left over an hour ago.

"Tae I am sure she got caught up talking to someone"

"For 30 minutes. No, she would've messaged me to tell me so that so I wouldn't be here panicking"

"OK, maybe we just wait it out a bit more and she if she calls. Her phone might've died on the way"

I groaned before sitting down on the sofa in the conference room. 20 minutes went by so slow before my phone eventually rang. Y/N's picture filled the screen as I quickly answered it.

"Y/N!"

"Hello, is this the partner of Miss Shin Y/N?"

"Yes, who is this?"

"Hello sir this Seoul Bumin Hospital. I am afraid to tell you that Miss Y/N was involved in a bad car accident and sustained some externally injuries"

"OK. I will be there as quick as I can"

"We will be waiting. See you soon Mr. Kim"

I locked my phone and ran out of the room. The boys were calling after me I got into my car and drove to the hospital. Panic rose within me wondering how bad of injuries Y/N could have sustained. After a few minutes I arrived at the hospital and parked my car. I made my way to the front desk.

"Shin Y/N?"

"Relation?"

"Husband"

"3 third floor, room 235"

"Thank you"

I fast walked to the elevator and clicked the 3rd floor. I had rung her mum on the way and informed her along with the guys. Never in my life did I think this would happen to Y/N. I reached the floor and went in the direction of her room. I entered her room and saw her awake and sat up in the bed.

"Tae"

"Y/N, thank god. I was getting worried why you weren't answering your phone"

"The other vehicle came out of nowhere"

"Shh, you don't have to talk about it, just rest"

"Did you leave practice?"

"I had to. Your my wife, I will drop everything if anything bad happened to you"

"I am sorry if you panicked"

"Don't be sorry. What did the doctors say?"

"There is no bad brain injury. I broke my arm and ankle. But, other than that I am fine. They want me to stay for a couple of days just to help with the recovery"

"OK. I will cancel all plans to help take care of you"

"You can-"

"I can and I will"

I sat beside her on the bed and let her cuddle into me. I gave a kiss on the top of her head and soon I heard soft snores. Her door slowly opened and her mum appeared from behind. I motioned for her to stay quiet as Y/N had fallen asleep. I went into explaining what happened and about Y/N's recovery.

-Three days later-

I helped Y/N out of the car and towards the house. Her mum had made the travel home with us to carry the bags and required medication for Y/N whilst I carried her. I placed her on the couch and put some pillows underneath her leg. Yeontan had jumped up onto the couch and went towards Y/N. I heard her giggles as Yeontan snuggled up against her.

"Hey my little fur baby. I am sorry daddy and I couldn't see you for a few days. Mummy got injured. Are you going to take care of me?"

Her giggles were heard again as a smile formed on my lips. I placed her bags in the bedroom before joining her in the living room. Her mum was going to stay the night before I would drop her home tomorrow morning

"Thank you to the both of you for taking of me between the hospital and home. I don't know what I would do without either of you"

"Sweetie, you don't need to thank us. I am your mum and Tae is your husband, its our job to look out for you"

I gave Y/N a reassuring smile before placing her head upon my lap so she could lie down. She looked up at me and smiled before kissing my hand. I sighed in relief. She is ok. She is fine. She is still here and I am forever grateful.
