Seokjin - paper rings

Seokjin's p.o.v

"Have you got everything prepared for tonight?"

"Yes"

"Can the rest of us be there when it happens?"

"You can wait at the company. I just really want us to be alone when it happens"

"Please, what if it's just me?"

"Tae, don't push it. This is going to be a very special moment alright"

"Has the shop rung you yet?"

"Not yet. They said it would be ready next week as it's a very special piece that they don't regularly keep in the shop"

"Ah a special item for a special woman"

"I know. Now please may you leave so I can set everything up"

"I'm going. Call us if it's good news!"

He went out of the house as I was left to set everything up. Y/N and I have been together 6 years and have lived with each other for 2 years. Our relationship was quite secret at first, there were some rumours but we didn't confirm it until we had been dating for a year. Y/N is a makeup artist for the company and has been by her side since our trainee days so she knows all of us on a personal level. She was currently the makeup artist for another idol at the moment due to our break from group music.

"Jin, I'm home!"

"Stay there, please. I'm not finished"

"OK!"

I laid the last of the rose petals down around the table before greeting Y/N in the entrance way. We shared a kiss before we parted. 

"Dinner is nearly ready why don't you go freshen up and join me when you're ready"

"Yes sir!"

I watched as she walked away. She placed her bags against the wall by the shoe rack before heading upstairs. A small painted my face as I went back to the kitchen to plate all the food up. After a few minutes I heard her footsteps approaching the kitchen before her small arms wrapped around my waist.

"Are you ready to eat?"

"Yes, I'm starving. The boys worked so hard today I had to keep touching up their hair and makeup"

"What group did you work with today?"

"ENHYPEN, they had their comeback recently so they got promotions"

"I miss when you did our makeup"

"Same. Counting down the days when you guys are all finished with military so I can come back to you lot forever" 

"Are they giving you a tough time, the other artists?"

"Not at all but it's been somewhat hard to get used to everyone's different energies"

"The young energy. Am I not young anymore?"

"I'm starting to doubt it you're a vampire or not"

"Hmm maybe it's a secret I will never tell. But for the mean time, let's eat because I have a surprise for you"

"A surprise?  What did I do to deserve a surprise"

"Just let me surprise you please?"

"Ok. Let's eat"

Y/N was currently clearing up the table as I was out in the garden setting up the candles. I really want this surprise to make her happy. I could tell she has been stressed a lot lately with going back and forth between different artists the last couple of months. 

"Baby are you ready to come outside?"

"Coming!"

Y/N's p.o.v

I walked out from the kitchen towards our garden before being greeted with the sight of more flowers and candles going down the small set of stairs. I saw Seokjin standing in the middle of the patio surrounded by the flowers we have been growing.

"What is all this for?"

"This is my surprise"

"Wow, it's really beautiful Jin"

I walked down the stairs and stood in front of the love of my life. A smile formed on my face as I planted a kiss on his lips. 

"I'm not going to stall any longer and just get to it. I love you Y/N. So much that I don't think my words or actions could express my love for you. It was a lucky day when you walked through the company doors and applied for the job. For last 10 years I've fallen deeper and deeper in love with you. You were the only other person that really understood who I was at the time we debuted.  Every time you smile or laugh it makes my heart beat louder. I love that you are yourself around me and others. You help people even when they don't ask for it. You are so kind and loving. That's why I am standing here in front of you wanting to ask you if would do the greatest honour in becoming my wife?"

I didn't say anything but grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him towards me bringing us into a kiss. My arms draped around his neck before I pulled apart as I smiled at him.

"If that kiss didn't give the clear answer...it's a yes. I will happily become your wife"

He picked me up and spun me around before kissing me again. The smile on his face was the biggest I've ever seen.

"About your ring. We have to pick  it up next week because it's being customed made especially for you"

"Seokjin, I would've been fine with the smallest ring on this planet. Heck, even having no ring is not a big deal to me. I do like shiny things but I would marry you with paper rings if I had to"

"I know baby but this ring will suit your style perfectly"

"If you say so. I will trust you and I can't wait to see it"

"You are going to love it but as for now I promised Tae I would call him and the guys if it was good news"

"Let's go"

We headed inside after blowing the candles out. I grabbed my phone and clicked on the group chat and pressed video call. Jimin was the first one to join as we told him to wait for any other members to join. After a couple of minutes all the members had joined the call as Seokjin and I smiled at each other. 

"Hello, you two are creepily smiling at each other and its scary" - JHS

"Sorry, but have you guys all got the best suits to wear sometime later this year?" - Y/N

"Yes" - all

"Good because you are going to need them for our wedding" - KSJ

The first person to cheer was Taehyung and soon the others joined along. I was happy that they were all happy with the news. I know how much everyone supports each other. After 20 minutes we hung up and cleaned up the rose petals that were on the floor. When we finished cleaning up we headed upstairs to bed. We got under the covers and cuddled each other.

"Thank you for saying yes"

"Don't thank me. I love you of course I would say yes. I can't wait to become Mrs. Kim"

"You're going to look beautiful on the day"

"Hmm, nothing can beat your prettiness baby?"

We shared a kiss before falling asleep. Funny how your dreams come true sometimes.
