Jimin - cupid

I watched as everyone was moving into their dorms within the university campus. Luckily for me, I lived outside campus in my own two bedroom house, so I was urgent to find a roommate, other reason I didn't live on campus. The dorms were divided into girls and boys, whereas I was open to any roommate. 

"Any luck with the roommate yet?"

"Nope. Didn't realise it would be this hard to find someone, who wouldn't want to jump at the opportunity at an apartment outside of campus where you can live freely"

"If I didn't have my own place I would be there right away"

"I know Lia, hopefully someone comes along soon"

We entered the university doors and headed towards the cafeteria. Our first lesson wasn't for another two hours, but we use the spare time to do extra studying or just to relax. There wasn't that many people in this area which was good. I did suggest going to the library but judging by the way the cafeteria is empty, I am assuming the library is already full. 

"So any particular roommate you are looking for?"

"Well for either gender they have got to respect the boundaries I have. Privacy is a must. They got to help out with everything. Also, kindness is a must. I don't care if they are cold but they got to be kind"

"Good luck finding someone that fits that. Seems like these days people forget their manners"

"True that"

We continued our little study session, occasionally getting up to go stretch or go toilet. I was currently on my way back from the girl's room when I bumped into someone. The other person managed to catch me before I fell. I stood up straight and bowed to the other person. As I lifted my head I was met with the a charming smile and sparkling brown eyes. 

"Ah, thank you and sorry for bumping into you. I need to get better at watching where I go"

"Don't be sorry. I'm glad I bumped into. I've been looking for someone to help but they all seem to be studying and I didn't want to disturb"

"What did you need help with?"

"Directions. I'm new to this college and I haven't a clue where I am going?"

"No worries. Is it your first year of university?"

"Second year, I had to transfer due to moving"

"Ooh that makes it easier. You've got a taste of university. Do you have your schedule with you?"

He placed his hand into his pocket and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper. He slowly handed it to me as I unfolded it and scanned his schedule for the week.

"Good thing is I am in most of these lessons so I am happy to guide you around. Sorry, I never asked for your name"

"Park Jimin, you?"

"Song Y/N. Pleasure to meet you Jimin. Since we have the same schedules it means you've got about an hour until your first lesson. Would you like to sit with my friend and I until our lesson

"If you wouldn't mind?"

"Not at all. Follow me, we are studying in the cafeteria"

We walked together towards the cafeteria to join Lia at the table. When we entered the room I noticed Lia wasn't there. I got closer to the table and saw she left a note on my pad.

Sorry bestie, my class decided to start early. See you at lunch ~ Lia

"Oh, it seems my friend lesson has started early so I will have to do introductions later"
