Jungkook - friends turned lovers

The day had come where you were moving home. Jungkook has recently purchased a home Itaewon and offered me to come and stay there so Jungkook knew that his home was being looked after when he wasn't around. Jungkook and I had become friends through high school and we lost contact for a bit when he debuted with the guys but soon regained contact due to me being a model on the same label. I had already had a apartment but I was looking for a better location to live in and when Jungkook had shown me his new house I quickly accepted his offer. The place was beautiful and there was so much space. My bedroom was nice; it was across the hall room Jungkook's and it was cozy.

"Jungkook, do you have movies booked this weekend?"

"No, why?"

"I was thinking we could go on our weekend adventure like we always did in high school"

"You mean go eat ramen and then see where the day takes us?"

"Yes, exactly that. We haven't done in a while"

"Ok. It's settled we'll make this weekend adventure longer. We'll start Friday and finish Monday"

"Four days! What will we find to do in four days"

"I know some good hiking places. Theres a nice park with a lake in. We could go to the tower at night time, the best view of the city"

"Sounds good to me. I best go pick my outfit for tomorrow. Give me some ideas"

"Want me to help?"

"Yes! You've got the best fashion style"

"You're the model here"

"You know me, I like my baggy tops and sweats"

"True. Let's go!"

•••(Friday morning)

I finished straightening my hair before I placed my bucket hat firmly on top of my head. A little bit of makeup was in my face followed by a black playlist and my black timberlands. I placed my phone, lip balm, house keys and wallet inside my crossbody bag before walking downstairs to meet Jungkook in the kitchen.

"How do I look?"

"Woah, is this the same girl I met in high school"

"Yes it is, are you ready?"

"Just have to put my shoes on"

"Ok. Shall I go wait in the car. Oh, my car or yours?"

"Mine. Here's the keys"

"Thanks, bestie"

I  unlocked the front door and made my way to Jungkook's car. The black sleek Mercedes sat underneath the sheltered garage. I placed myself in the passenger seat as I waited for JK. A few seconds later he came out and got in the drivers seat.

"Ugh that ramen was so good! I could another two bowls of it"

"Same here. Where too now?"

"How about the park with the lake you mentioned"

"Do we have our cover ups"

"Masks are in my bag and we're already wearing glasses and hats so I think we're good to go"

"Perfect. The best thing about this ramen place being here; the park is just a 10 minute walk from here"

"You found some good places. I need to take some pictures today"

Jungkook took his camera out and stared snapping some photos of the aesthetic road we were walking in when I took a picture of him quickly for Instagram later. We arrived at the park and all you could were Cherry Blossoms covering every section in the park. I placed my sunglasses over my eyes as I looked at the different colours the park was offering.

Jungkook's p.o.v

"Y/N?"

"Hmm"

"Shall we go to the tower today instead of tomorrow?"

"Yeah sure. Why the change in plans"

"Well I thought we could use the weekend to unpack and get everything sorted"

"I forgot we had to unpack. That's fine with me"

She shot me a smile before walking ahead. The butterflies in my stomach wouldn't calm down. I've loved her since high school and it crushed me when we lost contact for a while and then when I found out we were apart of the same agency I was overwhelmed with joy. It was her dream to be a model. Even though we were apart of the same agency it is tough to do our weekend adventures because the weekend is when I'm the busiest with shooting for tv shows or films.

"Jungkook! Let's go, it's starting to get dark"

"Ok"

As we walked up the stairs Y/N grabbed my hand making the butterflies go even crazy. She gave me a smile as we reached the last step and looked at the scenery around us. Y/N looked up at me.

"What are you looking at?"

"You"

"Why?"

"You're so beautiful, I don't think you realise just how beautiful you are"

"Where's this coming"

"I love you. Not in a friend way. I don't want to be friends anymore. Gosh, I've loved since high school and every-time I see you whether it's when you smile or I hear your laugh, I fall even more in love with you. The butterflies in my stomach flutter all the time. I'd scream it from the highest point in the whole world just for you to know that I, Jeon Jungkook, is madly in love you Park Y/N"

She looked at me with tears falling out of her eyes.

"Oh no, I didn't mean to make you cry"

"I love you too Jungkook. I was so afraid to say it"

"Can I kiss you?"

"Yes"

Our lips touched and the fireworks I felt were amazing. I finally got the girl after all these years.
