This chapter and the next have a bit of fighting. Nothing too gruesome, I believe.

Honey Lemon stood in front of the mirror, looking over the simple white dress she was wearing. Gogo sat on the bed, chewing her gum thoughtfully as she watched her friend fuss.

"Honey, are you okay?"

Honey Lemon frowned at the question, wondering what she meant by that. "Yes?"

Gogo sighed. "Listen, I just don't want you to rush into this." She paused, thinking about what she was going to say. "Wasabi, Fred, and I were talking about the whole thing... and we all knew that you and Tadashi were probably going to married someday, we just didn't think it would be now. Even Fred was surprised when you asked him to officiate."

"What are you saying?"

A tremble wavered in her throat, and she hoped Gogo wouldn't notice it. But she did.

"Honey, I don't want to give you cold feet. You and Tadashi love each other, that's great! You're just both young, and waiting a little bit could go a long way."

Honey Lemon bit her lip, not knowing how to express the emotions currently running through her body. She would never get another opportunity like this, but how could she tell Gogo that? That in another life, Tadashi was dead?

She couldn't. So instead she said nothing, and continued to get ready. Gogo gave her a pat on the shoulder then left the room, and a cold feeling replaced her presence. Honey shivered.

"Well, well, well, isn't this interesting?" Facilier slinked by her, glancing over the bouquet that was in her hands. "Am I missing something? A wedding, and I'm not invited?"

Honey's eyes watched the necklace full of her blood swing across his neck. His smile caused another shiver to run down her back, and she tried to control her shaking.

"Here's the thing, Honey Lemon. If you wish to stay here, if you truly wish to start this life, I need more of your blood."

Honey Lemon stepped back, stumbling into the wall. Everything seemed to blur together in her mind, like she was just now realizing the magnitude of what she was about to do. All this time, Honey Lemon had convinced herself that by doing this she would be living the life she wanted/ What she wished she could've done when Tadashi was alive. Now she was marrying a figment of her imagination, trying to convince herself it was the real thing.

She couldn't give Facilier any more of her blood. It would only be a matter of time before she was now indebted to him, unable to escape him for the rest of eternity in this made up universe.

Before giving herself time to think, Honey Lemon slapped Facilier across the face with one hand, then yanked the necklace off his neck with the other, dropping the bouquet to the floor. She swung open the door and left the room, running down the hallways of the school. Tadashi was waiting for her in the courtyard. She knew her friends would be there too, all of them waiting for a wedding to take place.

Facilier's footsteps stormed behind her, and she really wished she wasn't in heels right now. That sparked an idea in her head, and she awkwardly hopped along the hallway as she removed her heels and flung them back at Facilier's face. Whether he dodged them or not, she didn't look to see.

She ran down the stairs at a rapid pace, trying to get to the courtyard, but it almost felt like the world was shifting around her. Facilier had been the one to control this world around her, and now that she held his amulet in her hand, things were going awry. She pushed through the messy illusion, her heels burning and her legs screaming as she made her way to the courtyard.
