Violet woke up to the sound of Jack-Jack's wails. She groaned and pulled her pillow over her head, trying to block him out.

Soon she gave up, and reached across the bed for her phone.

New Message

The words flashed on her screen. It must've been Penny, but Violet had never known her friend to be an early bird. Wilbur maybe? Even Hiro? Nah, Hiro would have bigger things to deal with back at San Franskoyo.

Unknown Number

Violet opened the message, almost getting a heart attack as she read it.

[7:13] Unknown: Hey Violet, it's Tony Rydinger? Riley gave me your num cuz I kinda forgot to ask you before I left.

[7:14] Unknown: I knew she had it from a project you guys did together.

[7:16] Unknown: if you wanna talk, I'm here. You seem really cool :)

Violet had to bite her tongue to stop herself from screaming. What would she do? Text him back? Call Penny? This was great!

"I can already tell it's going to be a great day," she smiled to herself.

Wilbur was grumpy. For more than just one reason, but there was one particular reason for his grouchy mood.

[8:03] Penny: WHAT EHAT WHAYUFNR!

[8:04] Hiro: ...

[8:05] Violet: TONY TEXTED ME!!!!

[8:06] Penny: OHMYGOSHHHHHHHHH

[8:06] Hiro: Yay?

[8:06] You: ...

[8:07] Violet: Hiro, it's almost like Tiger Lily texting you so u guys can hang out even MORE

[8:07] Hiro: Oh...well then good for you!

[8:08] You: You still have a crush on that guy?

[8:09] Penny: she never really stopped ;)

[8:10] You: Gross.
