"Okay, this is getting weird," Attina murmured, pacing the council room. "It's like Tinkerbell has completely ditched us! How are we supposed to plan the prom now?"

"If I may say something," Elena said, "why are we planning the prom now? It's a good two months away."

Pocahontas shrugged. "While you make a good point, if we want it to be perfect it's going to take time, and we don't want to be stressed about time."

"And the fact that we're missing Jane and Tinkerbell means we need to pull extra weight," Terrance added.

Iridessa cleared her throat. "I have an idea."

The room went silent, waiting for her to speak.

"Well...we need a banner, right? Rapunzel is an incredibly talented artist and I know her well enough to ask if she could help. As for ordering and setting up decorations, I think I could ask a few friends of mine."

"I can do the same," Naomi said. "Having the students help with their prom would be nice."

Attina could feel herself starting to breathe again. She had taken on a lot for the council since Jane left for Africa. Honestly, she couldn't wait until Jane got back.

"Okay, Iridessa. You and I will ask Rapunzel to help out with the banner after school. The rest of you guys find people who are willing to help us decorate. Elena, can you order the centrepieces? And Terrance...if you could please talk to Tinkerbell and get her to attend a meeting, that'd be great. That's it, guys. You're all dismissed!"

The ads had just begun. Ariel was sitting in between Moana and Eric, and Giselle was on the other side of him. Shang was next to her and had already gone halfway through his large popcorn.

"Shang, you're going to finish that before the movie even starts!" Eric laughed.

"So be it, then. I live in the now," he said, stuffing another handful into his mouth.

Ariel forced out a laugh, even though Shang wasn't trying to be funny. She was incredibly nervous. Not only was this a horror movie, but she was next to Eric. What if she did something embarrassing?

"Moana!" she hissed. "You know I hate watching horror movies!"

"You never mind watching them when you're with me!"

"Yeah...but there are other people here. Can we switch seats?"

Moana looked at who was next to Ariel and grinned. "Nope."

Ariel sighed, twisting a long lock of red hair around her finger. "I'm not trying to ruin Eric and Giselle's date, Moana."

"How is it a date?" Moana took a long sip of her drink. "There are three other people here, and I don't think they've looked at each other once."

"It's because they're nervous!"

"Giselle is nervous. Eric doesn't care, I assure you." Moana faced the screen. "Oh? Would you look at that? The movie's starting."

Moana was right. Shang had pretty much finished his popcorn and was starting to reach for Eric's who rolled his eyes and handed it over.

"You can share with Ariel or Giselle, Eric," Moana said. "They don't eat much popcorn."

Ariel knew what Moana was trying to do. She was trying to get Eric to choose.

Well, she wasn't going to ruin this for Giselle.

"Actually, I really hate sharing my popcorn," she said. "Just share with Giselle."

Moana smiled. "You liar!"

She proved her point by shoving her hand into Ariel's popcorn bag and eating some. Shang shushed them.

"The movie is starting. For real, this time."

Eric finally looked at Giselle. "Are you okay with me eating some of your popcorn?"

A shy look blossomed across Giselle's face. "Yeah, of course."

An angry feeling bubbled at the pit of Ariel's stomach, but she ignored it and gave Moana a satisfied smirk.

She deflated when Moana just shook her head in disappointment.

"Come on, Stitch!"

Lilo had been chasing the weird creature around her dorm room for five minutes, trying to get a leash on him.

"I just want to go for a walk!"

"Stitch no wanna!"

Stitch growled, and Lilo responded with an even louder one.

"What is going on here?"

Lilo and Stitch looked up to see Tiger Lily entering the dorm room.

Lilo ambushed Stitch while he was off guard, attaching the leash to the collar she had managed to get on to him in his sleep.

"Ha! Now, we're going for a walk. Everything's fine, Lily."

Lilo tugged at the leash, but Stitch ripped it out of her hands, then ripped it off his collar.

"No walk, no walk!" he yelled, then bounded out of the room and into the hallway.

"There's no way he can be out there without tearing apart the entire school," Tiger Lily said.

Lilo resisted the urge to roll her eyes. "Then why did you leave the door open?" She didn't wait for Tiger Lily to answer. "I'm going after him."

Lilo took off after Stitch, knowing she saw him turn left. That wasn't very helpful though. Walt Disney College was huge, and Stitch was pretty fast. He could be anywhere.

"Two pairs of eyes are better than one."

Lilo spun around to see Tiger Lily standing behind her with the leash Stitch had ripped off his collar.

"You don't have to help me," Lilo said, taking the leash from Lily's hands.

"I want to. Hunting down an extra-terrestrial is on my bucket list."

Lilo almost laughed. "We don't know that for sure. For now, he's just a funny-looking dog, not E.T."

Tiger Lily rolled her eyes. "Right. Funny-looking dog."

They walked down the dormitory halls, looking for a path of destruction. They were quiet. Lilo didn't like that, but she didn't feel like talking either.

"We should train Stitch," Tiger Lily said.

Lilo looked back to see if she had heard that come from Tiger Lily's mouth. "We?"

The girl shrugged. "If you want. He seems to be quite...out of control. If Principal Mickey were to see him he wouldn't allow it in the university."

"You're allowed dogs in the university, Lily."

Tiger Lily sighed. "Lilo...I don't know if you're blind, but that's not a dog. I'm not sure what it is, but it needs training if it's going to stay here. We can train him together."

Lilo considered what her friend was saying. Tiger Lily would be okay with training Stitch for now, but when Wendy comes back from Africa she'd ditch Lilo and Stitch.

Lilo decided to voice this thought.

"You don't need to. When Wendy comes back, you won't have time to train him."

She didn't look away from her friend's face, waiting to see her reaction.

Tiger Lily sighed. "Lilo...I know lately you feel like I've been hanging out with Wendy instead of you—"

"Because you have been."

"Yes, but it's because Wendy is a new friend. You're my best friend, Lilo. You always have been. But I need to spend time with my other friends too. But I get it, we haven't been hanging out as much as we used to, so that's why I suggested we do this."

Lilo didn't know whether to continue glaring at Tiger Lily or not. She decided not to.

"Let's find Stitch," she said.

Tiger Lily nodded. "Okay."
