"Ah, Agrabah was fun." Megara sighed as she let the sun shine on her skin.

Jasmine had gotten darker due to the Agrabah sun, and the two college students were enjoying their last days of break.

"It's been a lot more fun with you here. Ali was busy almost the entire two weeks, I barely got to see him. But when you came last week things went crazy, and I LOVED IT!"

Jasmine laughed, and Megara laughed along with her. When Jasmine first invited Megara over for the break, she was considering saying no. Megara...she just wasn't cut out for the royal life. Not that she was now the Princess or something, it's just to be with a royal the entire holiday meant you had to impress other royals.

Only yesterday it was when Megara had met two duchesses along with Jasmine and her Father. She had to be polite, helpful, friendly... It really wasn't Meg's thing.

Megara was still afraid of the fact that she might've started a civil war in the West Indies last Tuesday, when she had accidentally spilt cake on the Empress' dress. Luckily the Sultan was able to calm down the situation before somebody threw another banana peel across the room.

"Oh look! Our pears are here!" Jasmine clapped excitedly and ran over to the maid holding the basket.

"Did I just hear you say...pears?"

Jasmine nodded. "Sounds weird, but they're the most delicious pears in all of Agrabah. It's almost as if it's been topped off with sugar, or whipped cream!"

Megara held up her hand. "I'll pass."

Jasmine frowned. "Oh come on! You can't come to Agrabah and not have one of these pears!"

"I can, and I will," Megara said as she walked off the balcony into Jasmine's room.

Jasmine took one pear out of the basket as the maid left the room. She waved it in front of Megara's face, and let the smell linger.

"Ew, it may smell nice, but in the end, you described it as a sugary pear. Plum, maybe. Pear? No." Megara shook her head defiantly.

Jasmine took a bite and chewed obnoxiously.

"Wow, the flavour is unreal in this thing! Why, it's a good thing I have five more pea—"

Megara threw her hands up in the air. "Fine, fine! I'll eat the dumb pear, okay?"

She grabbed one from the basket, it's skin feeling weirdly smooth. You could tell it came from Agrabah, it just had a tropical vibe.

When she took a bite, she was expecting mush mixed with immense sugar, almost like it had been dunked in sugar mix. But that was nothing like the actual taste.

Megara's tongue burst with flavour. It tasted like someone had melted some whipped cream and spreaded it lightly around the pear, and it had a crispy feel to it.

"Wow," was all she could say.

Jasmine smiled. "Amazing, right?"

Megara shrugged. It was a pear. Better tasting than regular ones but still...meh.

To make Jasmine happy, Megara took another bite, and that was when the taste really settled in. Her taste buds exploded with flavour, and Megara felt like she had created a smoothie out of pure candy.

"It's the healthiest version of pear you can find! Which is quite ironic considering the taste... I'm glad you like it!"

Megara mumbled something in response and eagerly took a third bite. Jasmine continued to talk about exotic Agrabah fruits and dishes, and how different they taste.
