Alice and Isabel were sitting at their table, waiting for Eilonwy and Taran to show up.

"Hey guys! How was the break?" Taran asked, sitting down, and Eilonwy sat next to him.

"It was okay," Alice mumbled.

"Did you enjoy Enchancia Isabel?"

"Yes Eilonwy, I did. Sofia is a great hostess. Oh and Alice, why isn't Margaret here? It's a different teacher!"

Alice frowned. "Over the break I did dance classes, and there was this horrible girl called Lesley Maroni. Turns out her family had offered Margaret a job, and we were going to meet about it. The only fun part of the night was when I saw Christopher."

Taran took a forkful of his spaghetti. "You saw Christopher?"

Alice nodded. "Also Wendy, but I...things are not so great with her. Talking with Chris was more enjoyable."

Isabel thought for a moment. "Alice, I don't think you've ever told me why you and Wendy drifted apart so drastically. You were best friends right? How could you just not want to speak to her."

Alice sighed. "It's a tiring story."

Eilonwy smiled. "We're willing to hear it."

"Oh well of course you are! I think it started happening when I became friends with Taran..."

Taran perked up at the sound of his name.

"Wendy and I never really used to bicker, but once I started hanging with Taran, I don't know if she got jealous or what. I told her it was fine, and I would never ditch her for Taran. I thought things were settled then, but Isabel came along."

"Me?"

"Mhm. You were cool, so I wanted to be friends! But Wendy here acted like if I was her best friend I couldn't have any other friends. I think she felt like you were trying to intervene Isa."

Isabel chewed her garlic bread silently.

"Then without telling me, she asked Vice Principal Goofy if she could switch dorms, putting her in Amber's dorm because Amber had a spare bed. I was so annoyed, and she said Amber was her friend too but that was not why I was mad!"

"I get it. She moved away from you, trying to make it seem like she was just branching out to new people," Taran said.

"Exactly! I told her we chose this room together because we wanted to share a dorm! But she left."

"So you invited me to share your dorm," Isabel smiled.

"Yeah. I was just so frustrated, I kind of stopped talking to her. I think she realized that she had ruined our friendship, but Wendy has too much pride to apologize. I'm glad she can remain friends with Peter though."

"Wow. Wendy really doesn't give you that type of impression."

"Now she's doing what she thought Isa was doing to Lilo. Totally pushing her out of the relationship. I don't want to talk about it anymore. Let's talk about Isa and..." A sly smile appeared on Alice's face. "Prince James!"

The animal didn't belong in the centre, and Lilo wanted it, so Milo, being the sweet guy he is, bought a collar for dear old Stitch.

When Milo had asked if Lilo could handle Stitch alone, she had answered:

"I'm fourteen. I can look after a weird looking dog, watch! But thank you for today Milo. It made me feel better."

Now she was trying to sneak the animal into her dorm. Lilo knew Tiger Lily liked animals, so she was certain she and Stitch would get along.

"Okay, time to put on your collar..."
