Chapter 29~ Film Festival

"We're here!" Pocahontas stood at the front of the bus, yelling to get everyone in order.

"Oh my gosh, this is so exciting!" Jubileena squealed.

They all stepped out of the bus and gasped.

The place was packed worth people. There were big groups, and usually one person was holding the camera.

"Is that..?" Naomi squinted at the figure.

"No!" Elena gasped.

It was Alonso, by himself, with his own camera.

"He did not get a film done. A good, proper, in depth one anyway." Alice scoffed.

"Do you think he cheated?" Taran asked.

"Yeah, because I don't think you can even make a bad movie in that short amount of time, unless it's really bad." Eilonwy answered.

"What if he hired someone?" James said.

"We won't do anything. Our movie is great, and even when we thought it was over, we pulled through. We don't need to care about any other movie, but ours." Elsa said.

Everyone nodded.

"Okay, I guess this is the reserved area for us." Kida shrugged and walked over to a group of labeled chairs.

"I'm so excited Boo! I feel like bursting!" Anastasia squealed.

Boo, Ariel and Giselle laughed.

"Look, it's Eric!" Giselle swooned.

"And Rapunzel, with her mysterious new man." Anastasia smirked.

"He's not mysterious at all! That's Eugene, he's in my carpentry class. He is so good." Boo said.

"Really?" Giselle asked.

"Yeah."

"Ariel, you're so quiet, are you okay?" Anastasia asked.

"Yeah...it's just, I don't think I'm going to be chosen as a representative for the College swim competition." She sighed.

"Why not?" Boo questioned.

"Because-"

"HELLLLOOOO young directors, actors, actresses, backstage members. Welcome to film fest! I'm Denise, and you'll be seeing a lot of me!" A woman with red hair was holding a microphone, standing on top of the stage.

A roar rang out through the crowd.

"This is every bit as exciting as I thought it was going to be!" Silvermist whispered to Kim.

"Seems fun."

"Adam, you haven't been around lately. What's going on?"

Adam fought the urge to roll his eyes. Gaston obviously didn't know that he was the cause of Adam's problems.

"I've been reading with Belle." He said.

"You, reading? With Belle?" Gaston eyed him.

"She offered to find me something I'd like, and well, books are more interesting than you think Gaston."

"Ha! That's funny." He bellowed.

Adam glared at him and closed his book.

"You're starting to act a lot like Belle."

"A person can grow on you." Adam said, and a smile tugged at his lips.

Gaston eyed Adam wearily as he left the courtyard.
