"Rose."

Rosetta poked her head out of the bathtub. "Yes sweetie?"

Kim continued to brush her hair which was full of tangles. "I'm doing a mission thing."

"Oh nice. With Ron?"

"Yes, with Ron...though he's been acting a bit snappy lately. But that's not the point. It's proving to be a little tougher than I thought."

For the most part, the school knew what Kim did in her free time, fighting Shego and Drakken. They hadn't given her much trouble lately, but then Shego showed up out of the blue not too long ago.

Kim talked about it with Rosetta a lot, she was just an easy person to talk to. Though that wasn't really a popular opinion.

"Well what do you mean by that sugarplum?"

"Do you remember Shego?" Kim asked.

"That girl that you used to talk about and said she's worse than Bonnie? Yeah, I remember her."

"We detected something going wrong in the abandoned warehouse. There were five bodies in there before Ron and I went in. We only saw two people, and one of them was Shego."

"I thought you said she'd left you alone?"

"She had. We met at that warehouse. And there was a super there."

"Not possible. They haven't come out since the rallies and arguments. Supers might as well not exist, even if they still have their powers they don't really 'save the day' anymore."

Kim heard the shower water stop running and Rosetta reached out with her hand to grab her towel.

"But she was there! And she seemed young. I'm just so puzzled to why Shego was there. She could be planning an attack for all I know. I need to be prepared."

"The whole school needs to be prepared Kim. If Shego is planning an attack on the entire school, she isn't working alone."

Kim's brush struggled to pull away a knot. "That's...possible. There was a slimy mutant thing there too maybe she had something to do with—no, the shock on her face was too real."

"I'm sorry did you say slimy mutant?"

Kim dismissed Rosetta with a causal wave. "Don't worry about it. I gotta meet up with Ron."

They made it.

"Well it's about time isn't it?" Zandar yawned as the brought their luggage off the plane.

"You're right there," Alice said.

Isabel pushed out her analyzer before bringing out her luggage.

"What's that?" James asked.

"Uh..." Isabel glanced at Alice, who smirked. "Um, it's my complex analyzer."

Isabel swallowed. She sounded like a total nerd didn't she?

"What does that mean?"

Isabel begged her face to stay its regular colour.

"It's just for scanning the animals. It's an easier way to figure out which species they are, or you know, what type...I guess. I just really wanted to...study...the animals."

Stop talking, she told herself.

James grinned. "Brilliant."

He walked off to his tent with Zandar, leaving Isabel with her mouth wide open.
