It had turned into evening, and they were still at Disneyland.
"Well, today has been lots of fun. But I should go now. I still got some packing to do before our flight to England. Thank you Peter, and happy birthday Christopher Robin!" Wendy stood up, still holding her cotton candy, and left.
Snow White had left them a while ago, so currently it was only Christopher, Arthur, Peter, Alice, and Pinocchio.
"And I can't stay for fireworks unfortunately. Kay and Ector plan to take me somewhere this evening," Arthur said.
Kay was Arthur's foster brother, and Sir Ector was Kay's dad. Arthur was thankful for them, even though sometimes they could be annoying.
"Oh well then. Bye Wart!" Christopher smiled and waved.
Arthur left, and Peter's phone went off.
He gasped. "Emergency what?" He said into his phone. "Oh, okay. Probably no big deal, but I'll come just in case."
He turned off his phone and the rest looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to tell them what's wrong.
"It's nothing major. Just Hook again. I'll be going then, have a nice mid-break guys!" Peter soared into the air, until they couldn't see him.
"And then there were three." Alice laughed.
"We can still watch the fireworks," Pinocchio said.
Christopher Robin nodded. "He's right. But let me just buy something first."
He came back with a small red bag of popcorn, and they continued to walk.
"Here's the best place to watch the fireworks. Everyone usually watches from the castle, but they soar right above the trees, so this place is nice too," Christopher said.
It was like a gazebo with a little walkway at the front. It was surrounded by water, and there was a bridge on the other side to cross.
Pinocchio sat in the walkway, dangling his feet above the water. Christopher sat next to him, then Alice sat next to Chris.
"The fireworks should be starting in, three...two...one..."
They heard a sound and a red firework burst into the air and rained down.
So many more colours came after that, and when Alice turned over, she could see the colour lighting up Chris's face.
Christopher caught her looking and offered some popcorn, and Alice blushed and took some. She needed to be more stealthy around people.
The firework display soon ended, and Pinocchio clapped.
"That was great. This entire day was great!"
"That's great to hear Pinocchio." Alice smiled.
Pinocchio left, waving goodbye and wishing Christopher Robin a happy birthday.
"I better be going too. It's truly been a lovely day. Have a nice birthday tomorrow, Christopher."
Alice turned to leave, but Christopher grabbed her hand.
"Alice wait."
Her heart started beating wildly.
"When are you leaving for Africa?" He asked.
"Oh. Uh, in two weeks."
"Okay then. Bye!"
He dropped her hand, and her heart slowly returned to normal.

"You thought I was kidding, but I was not," Elena said as they strolled out onto the streets.
Naomi shook her head and laughed. "Knowing you Elena, I kinda saw this coming."
Mateo and Gabe were beside her, and guess where in the world they were at this very moment?
Paris.
Isabel was going to Enchancia with Sofia, so Elena went to Paris with her friends.
"Gabe, why do you look so worried?" Elena asked.
"I'm worried that Alonso will pop out of nowhere."
Elena laughed. The sound rung in his ear. Like music. He felt drawn to her smile, and Alonso seemed to be too.
"I don't think we'd find Alonso here. I'd say we're safe," Mateo said.
"Does Paris have beaches? Or even coves? That'd be fun!" Naomi suggested.
"Well, we have time to find out. First one to that beach over there wins!" Elena took off.
"No fair! She got a headstart!" Mateo whined as Gabe shot ahead with Naomi not too far behind him.
Elena was the first to touch the sand. "Yes! I win!"
"Actually, I think I do."
Elena turned around, and smiled when she saw Moana. She sat on the beach, staring at the sea.
"I guess you do."
Gabe came second, with Naomi and Mateo behind him.
"Oh. Hey Moana." Gabe waved and casually slid into the water.
Moana smiled at the others and stared at the waves. Elena sat next to her, and drew her name in the sand. She couldn't read Moana's expression. It wasn't troubled, no. It was more...thoughtful.
On the other side her friends had broken into a water fight, getting their clothes wet.
"Thinking about something?" Elena asked.
Moana sighed, and her eyes teared up, but quickly cleared. "My grandma."
Her gaze was fixated on the water, as if her grandma was there, her arms open for a hug.
"Oh. Did she...like the beach?"
A smile appeared on Moana's face. She stood up and wiped the sand off her skirt.
"She used to dance."
Moana shook her hips from side to side and moved her hands freely. She kicked the sand around, almost spraying Elena, and flung her arms side to side.
Elena giggled. "That's an odd dance."
"Grandma did it better. I'm okay when I want to be though."
She moved her arms along with her body, swinging from side to side. Elena got up and decided to try it too.
She fumbled and her arms flapped around like Moana's, but the girls both laughed, and Naomi soon walked over to them.
She sucked in a breath. "Wow. Elena, you have many talents, but I'm afraid dancing might not be one of them."
"What do you mean? As a fencer, you have to be light on your feet, which is almost the same as a dancer, and Elena is the best fencer around," Gabe said.
Mateo rolled his eyes at him. "Uh...maybe stick to ruling the kingdom, Elena."
Elena laughed at her friends, and so did Moana. While doing, so she stole it quick glance at Gabe, and just wondered. This was Paris, the city of love.
What could happen?
