Never getting away from me again

New Lives and First Words

   ANNABETH POV.
Percy and I decided that it would be nice to see my dad again even if it did mean getting yelled at.
So he is coming in 2 months for a week. I'm a little nervous to see him again especially because we never told him that we had twins.

   Percy went back to work today so Piper came over to help me with the twins. It was a pretty easy day but Percy should be home soon,

  "Annabeth how did you get so lucky these kids are angels." Piper says and tickles Zoe's belly. She giggles and Piper laughs.

    "Their not angels sometimes but most of the time yes." I say and finish washing the dishes I sit next to Piper at the table.
  She sets Zoë on the floor and Zoë plays with one of her toys. I hear the door open,

   "I'm home." Percy says and Zoë crawls to her father.
Piper laughs and I get up to follow her.
Percy picks Zoë up and she laughs, He kisses me and we walk into the kitchen.

    "Hi Piper." Percy says and sits down with Zoë in his arms.
  "Hey, how was work?" She asks.

  "Good, they got a new seal today, her name is Cove. She's a little bit of a drama queen but I think I can wear her down." He says with a smile.
   We talked for a little bit before I went to put the twins down for their nap.
  They fell asleep pretty quickly so I went back downstairs to find a very shocked looking Piper with her hand on her stomach and Percy trying to calm her down.

  "What happened?" I ask and go over to her. "Annabeth I'm pretty sure her water broke." Percy tells me.
  "Gods ok, Percy call Jason and get him over here and Piper let's get you a shower and a change of clothes." I say and Piper follows me upstairs.
  She takes a quick shower to get herself cleaned up and I hand her a pair of clothes for her to change into.
We go back downstairs to find Percy on the couch with Zoë.
 
  " Jason is on his way, he is absolutely freaking out, do you think at least one of us should go with them to calm Jason down." Percy says.
"Whatever Piper wants." I tell him.
"Annabeth do you mind." She says and clenches her jaw as a contraction hits her.
 
   "Of course not." I say and grab my phone from the living room. Jason runs in the door with a panicked look on his face.
   "Oh gods where is she." He says.

    "Living room ." I tell him and he runs in while I give Zoë a kiss and tell her I'll be back soon.

  Jason helps Piper into the backseat and I call Will,
"Annabeth hello is everything alright?" He asks.
"Everything is going to be fine, Piper's water broke and we are on our way to the hospital. Think you could send Kayla out?" I asked.
"Yes right away I'll see you guys soon, you know the dril." He says and hangs up.

"Ok Piper we're almost there just take deep breaths." I say and she nods.

   We make it to the hospital, Kayla meets us in the parking lot and helps Piper into the hospital.
   She takes her into the maternity ward and I stop Jason outside her room.

      "Piper needs you more then ever now ok. And I don't doubt that you'll be supportive, but you have to stop freaking out I understand this is your first baby and it's ok to be nervous believe me I was and so was Percy. Now go help your wife." I say and he hugs me. 
   "Thanks Annabeth." He says and we go into her room. Kayla is checking her dilation and Piper is griping the bedsheets in pain. Jason goes over to her and Piper takes his hand.

   "Ok Piper you're at 3 centimeters and since this is your first baby it might take a little longer." Kayla says and walks out.

Piper lays her head back,
"Ugg, please tell me this gets easier." She says and breaths through another contraction.
"I would but I don't want to lie to you." I say and she sighs.
  
    "I can stay for a little bit longer but then I have to go home to feed the kids, Zoë is probably taking a nap and the twins are probably up and about to start crying." I say and laugh a little bit.
   We talk for a little bit when my phone starts buzzing,
