Never getting away from me again

2 Weeks

ANNABETH POV.
Sally had been staying with us for about a week  left a few days ago. And to say it's been really hard is an understatement.

    Hunter wakes up a lot throughout the night and when he cries Morgan wakes up and when she starts crying Zoë starts crying.

   Percy and I haven't gotten any sleep for the past week. It's currently one in the morning and I'm trying to calm a crying Hunter and Percy is trying to calm a crying Morgan.

    I start to hear Zoë crying. "Here give him to me." Percy says and I hand Hunter to him. 

   I go down the hall into Zoë's room and over to her crib.
    I pick her up and sit on the rocking chair. She calms down a little bit and after 15 minutes she falls back asleep. I put her in her crib and close the door.
I go back to the twins room and Hunter is still crying, "Where is Morgan?" I ask a little worried.
"Don't worry, I got the bassinet from downstairs and put her in our room and she fell asleep, he is still crying can you try?" He asks and hands him to me. I sit down in the rocking chair and he calms down a little bit but is still crying.

  I rock him for about ten minutes before he finally falls asleep.
I gently place him in the crib and Percy and I head back to bed.

    Percy and I were awoken by Morgan crying early this morning and since she was in our room it was loud.
   I pick her up and take her into the living room so I can feed her.

   Percy comes down with a crying Zoë, "I'll make her something to eat." He says and takes her into the kitchen.
    Morgan finishes eating and is content.

   I lay her on a blanket on the floor and go upstairs to get the bassinet from our room.
     I check on Hunter and he is looking around laying in his crib not making a sound. I go into my room and bring the bassinet downstairs. After I put Morgan in it I go back upstairs and get Hunter.

      When I come back downstairs Percy is feeding Zoë. I sit down next to him and feed Hunter.

"I know this probably isn't the best idea but do you want to ask Thalia if she could help us today. So at least one of us gets some sleep." Percy asks me and sets Zoë in her playpen.
"Yeah, why not if she's up for it." I say and he calls Thalia.
"Kelp head what do you want?" Thalia asks.
"Annabeth and I haven't slept in 2 weeks and we were wondering if you would like to come over and help us look after the babies so at least one of us can get some sleep today." Percy says.

   "Yeah yeah anything to help Annie I'll be there soon." She says and hangs up.
I go upstairs and change Morgan and Hunter into some clothes and Percy does the same for Zoë.
I change Hunter and put him into a gray onesie and some soft pants. Then I change Morgan and put her into a sage green onesie with a little owl on it.

I take the twins downstairs and put them in their swings. (The baby swings) I try to do some housework when the doorbell rings.

  I open the door and Thalia walks in.
"Ok so let me get this straight, you haven't slept in 2 weeks and you didn't call me sooner." She says.
"We didn't want to bother you and Sally was a big help last week." I say and we go into the living room.
Zoë crawls over to Thalia and she picks her up.
"Ok I got the kids you go sleep you've been sleep deprived before and it didn't end up well." She says and I go upstairs to sleep.

    THALIA POV
Percy walks downstairs, "Oh no you upstairs bed now." I say and he smiles his thanks.
He turns around and goes upstairs.

    I laugh a little and set Zoë in her playpen. Hunter starts fussing so I go over to him to and pick him up.
   "Hey, you need to calm down you're mommy and daddy need to sleep, so you're stuck with me." I say and he looks up at me with glistening stormy eyes.
  
    I go over to the couch and sit with Hunter on my chest. He quiets down and falls asleep. Morgan fell asleep a little while ago so I put Hunter back in his swing and go pick up Zoë.
   "You look tired how about a nap." I say and lay down with her on the couch. I rub her back and she falls asleep almost immediately.
   I feel my phone vibrate, I answer the phone.
   "Hey Thals, since tomorrow is you're last day do you want to hang out today?" Jason asks.
   "I'm sorry Jace I can't, Percy and Annabeth haven't slept in 2 weeks so I promised I would watch the kids so they can sleep, definitely tomorrow though."
   "Ok, Piper says hello bye Thalia."
   "Bye Jace tell her I said hello." I say and hang up.
