Never getting away from me again

Maybe baby? (Part 1)

ANNABETH POV.
I woke up to a sharp pain in my stomach and started freaking out...
I decided it was Braxton Hicks (fake contractions) and tried to go back to bed. Every ten minutes I got a sharp pain in my stomach. After about 1 hour it got worse one was so bad I started crying out in pain. Percy being the light sleeper he is, jolted up and looked around frantically. His eyes landed on me and he had a look of worry in his eyes. "Oh gods Annabeth what's wrong."
I cried out again, I took a deep breath,

  "I think Zoë wants to say hello. In person." I told him.
  He jumps out of bed and gets dressed in a Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and jeans. He jogs out of the room to get the hospital bag. I attempt to get out of bed to be met with a contraction. After it passes I get up and put some leggings and a shirt on. I put my hair in a ponytail and grab my monster proof phone and text Piper and Hazel in a group text.

A: Piper Hazel I know it's early but we think the baby's coming, meet us at the hospital when you can.

Percy walks in with the suitcase and runs over to me. He rubs my back until it passes, "Annabeth can you walk out to the van?" He asks me.
  I nod, we've been keeping the van at our house because it's close to the baby's due date. Percy is going to buy a car soon but until then we have the van.
   It takes us a few minutes to get out the door because my contractions are closer together now. We finally make it to the van and start to the hospital. Percy calls Will on the way and explains the situation.

"Hey Percy why you calling so early is everything ok?" Will asks you can tell he's been sleeping. "Yeah I guess everything is ok but Annabeth went into labor."
"WHAT?!?! Ok I'll be there soon Kayla should be working the night shift just ask for her." Will tells us. They say goodbye and hang up. We pull up to the hospital and we see Kayla running out with a wheelchair. "Gods Will called me and I got here as soon as possible." Kayla says and helps me out. I sit in the wheelchair and she pushes me into the hospital. Percy is right next to me. Kayla had checked us in and I got put into a room. Another Apollo camper I think her name is Linzie helps me into a hospital gown. I get back to the bed and the nurses hook me up to a IV and puts a band around my stomach to keep track of the baby's heartbeat.

Percy talks to the nurses and comes back to sit next to me. "I hate this" I tell him. He kinda smiles and grabs my hand. I sit there going through a contraction when Will walks in. He comes over to the bed and checks all the monitors. Kayla comes in too, "Annabeth I'm going to see how much your dilated, your probably 2-3 centimeters because your water hasn't broken." She tells me. She checks and says I'm exactly 2 centimeters. 

"Ok Annabeth since your only at 2 centimeters and it's been 2 hours this is going to take awhile." Will tells me. I roll my eyes, "can you— numb the pain?" I ask. "We can only use our healing magic on you at 5 centimeters so it doesn't affect the baby." Will tells me with a sorry look on his face. I grown in agony during a contraction and squeeze Percys hand.

PERCY POV. (Three hours later: 5:30am)
Sitting next to Annabeth holding her hand while she cried out in pain was one of the worst things I've ever witnessed and I've literally been to hell. Knowing I couldn't do anything when Annabeth was complaining, I tried my best to make her comfortable. Kayla walks in during one of Annabeth's contractions, "Annabeth I'm going to check how much your dilated if your at 5 I'll numb the pain with my healer magic."  Annabeth nods and breaths in and out.

"Good news your at 5." Kayla says. Annabeth smiles a little while Kayla walks over and puts her hands on Annabeth's stomach. There was some golden light and Annabeth calmed down. "Thank you Kayla this is much better." She tells her. I thank Kayla and she walks out.

"How you feeling now Wise Girl?" I ask her. She smiles, "It's better I can feel it somewhat but it's way better then before." She tells me.
"I'm going to get something to eat, Will said you couldn't eat until the baby is born." I told her and she said she wasn't hungry. I walked out of the room and saw Grover, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank,And Leo.
"Hey guys." I say with a wave. I texted Jason to let everyone know at a reasonable hour but apparently he didn't get the memo.

"How close is she to having the baby?" Piper asks me. "Well about 30-40 minutes ago they said she was 5 centimeters so halfway there." I tell them. Piper giggles like a little girl. I talk with them for about 5 minutes. I told them it might take a little bit and that they can go home and sleep I mean it is 6:05 in the morning and most likely they've been up since 2:30 when I texted them. I got my water and went back into the room to see Annabeth on her phone.

"Hey, what you doing?" I asked her. "Reading" Annabeth says flat out and continues reading. I laugh. "Annabeth it's been 4 hours and you haven't slept one bit." She puts down her phone,

"Fine I guess I have a lot of work to do later." She says and gets comfortable. After about 6 minutes she's asleep. I decide to take a nap too, I lay down on the couch by the window and close my eyes.

1 1/2 HOURS LATER
ANNABETH POV.
After about 1 hour someone woke me up. "Annabeth sorry to wake you up but I have to check your dilation." Kayla says. I nod.
"Ok your at 8, this is going much faster the I thought it would you should be pushing in a hour or 2" she tells me and walks out. After about 15 minutes Percy wakes up. "Hey, Kayla came in a few minutes ago and said I'm at a 8." I tell him. He smiles and comes and hugs me.

We talk for about two hours when Kayla and Will walk in.
"Ok Annabeth you should be ready to deliver your baby." Will tells me, I start to get really nervous. Percy sees my nervousness and says, "Hey, your going to do amazing and just think after your done we get to meet our beautiful baby girl." I nod still taking deep breath's.

About 5 more nurses walk in the room with different equipment. One nurse changed my position and another got a bed ready for the baby. Kayla put gloves on and sat down and Will stood next to her with a variety of tools.

  "Ok Annabeth on the count of three your going to push for ten seconds then your going to get a five second brake to breath. Also squeeze Percys hand as much as you want and yell as much as you want." Kayla tells me. I smile at the last part. Percy grabs his hand and holds it to his chest. I laugh and look back at Will to see what he has to say.
  "Kayla is going to be delivering your baby, Kayla took a class but I know I'm your doctor I hope you can trust her." Will says. I tell him ok and Kayla says I'm at 10 centimeters.

"Ok Annabeth you ready to push?" I look up at Percy and he smiles.
"I'm ready as I'll ever be." I tell her...
