Melinda, Jim and Aiden sat at Andie's bedside as she was laid their comatose. They were talking.

"It was nice of your friend Nathan to come by." Melina smiled slightly

"He's not really a friend, to be honest he's actually kind of a tool. He's one of the rich kids that parents want them to mingle wth the lower crowd to make themselves feel better." Aiden admitted. Just then the ghost came back

"I had to." she stated Aiden and Melinda looked over and Jim knew that a ghost was here "They said I had to do it before I could go, they showed me what would happen if I didn't."

"Who, who showed you? Why did you cause the accident." the ghost looked apprehensive

"They watched, they always watch. But something went wrong, I didn't do it right and I had to fix it." she moved to stand near Andie. Melinda stood up angry.

"no more riddles don't disappear, you cause the accident you know more than your telling me so your going to fess up right now."

"When I was pregnant. I made a promise, that I wouldn't raise him the way my parents failed to raise me." she began "But I did, money and power mattered, it was hard to break away from what i knew and that's what he grew up believing. When he was 14 I realised my mistake thats why I sent him to that school."

"Nathan's your son." Aiden concluded the ghost nodded

"His Dad and I screwed up. I knew that more than ever but when I died, I was ready to go into the light on faith that I had put him back on the better path, one with no regrets. But before I could they stopped me, the told me that he was still on the wrong path, that I had only just started. They asked me to fix things and I agreed."

"How does having my daughter run over fixing things?" Melinda glared

"She's special, the watchers they told me she was special. Their paths are meant to cross, that is what needs to happen, but every time I tried nether of them did anything, I was at my wits end, I was desperate, that's when I saw what other ghosts were doing, and then I watched her, she can see the future. I've been planning this for weeks. If i couldn't get him to do something I would get her. The driver goes by the school every day at the same time, I timed everything, she should have seen it sooner, she was supposed to pull him away before but, it went wrong. I am so sorry. Please forgive me." she pleaded and Melinda sighed

"What are they saying?" Jim asked

"Nathan's Mum is saying that Nathan and Andie's paths are meant to cross to be something, but it wasn't, after trying different things this was plan zero and it backfired." Melinda summarised

"I don't know what is meant to come for this but I can go now. I think...I think she will get better because it's not over for her." she looked past them and smiled before walking into the light. Andie's heartbeat began to pick up and she slowly came around.

"Melinda." she turned hearing Carl but ignored him in favour of her daughter

-Andie-

I was back at home, I was literally run over by a car for my troubles and now I was behind on school work, that was worse than being hit by a car. My family fussed over me which annoyed me to no end so when I was finally cleared to go back to school. I was relieved. i walked back into school with numerous stares. oh great I'm even more of a freak. I winced as my shoulder ached and I shifted my bag to the other shoulder and tried to ignore everyone.

I managed to get through the day with no problem, I think I gave off the badass vibe that pushed people out instead of inviting them in which a incident like this would normally do.

"Andrea...Andrea." Someone put a hand on my shoulder and stopped me. I turned Nathan Jones, the boy I saved.

"Can I help you?" I huff. Okay sue me I was in a bad mood, ever  since recovering from the accident I've been having nightmares and not PTSD nightmares.

"Yeah. I'm Nathan. Nathan Jones you pushed me out..."

"I know who you are my brother told me. What?" he looked taken back by my attitude and his mouth open and closed

"I just wanted to say thank you for saving my life." he managed to say.

"Your welcome. Now if you don't mind I've got things to do." I turned on my heel and limped out of school. I thought that would be the end of it but it wasn't after we spoke he them proceeded to follow me around like a lost puppy.

My head rested on the dining table as I attempted to take a power nap, which worked because I drifted off.

-3rd person-

Melinda walked into the dining room, to see her daughter conked out on the table and Aiden working across from her.

"I think I should have you dad take another look at her she's exhausted poor baby." she kissed Andie's head

"Power naps are better than nightmare sleeps, short, not rem sleep." Aiden mumbled

"She's been having nightmares? Why didn't either of you say anything." Melinda questioned. Aides sighed

"She begged me not to, she's been trying to deal with it on her own. Like most things since the accident. It's weird." he told her

"What, tell me." Aiden got up and headed upstairs he nodded to the kitchen and the moved there. he laid out drawings upon drawings.

"She's obsessed with this place.  always dark and never light, I heard her once talking about needing to save them."

"She does." both turned sharply to face Carl "It has been a long while and they have been waiting for her." Melinda let out a heavy breath

"Why is she needed in the tunnels, it's dangerous down there. I should know."

"There is a balance that must be kept Melinda and the dark sports far out weigh the light for some time now. Many with your gift have tried to help but only she can restore it. He will help her." he disappeared

"What does he mean he? Does he mean Nathan?" Aiden asked his mother who stood there speechless.
