Ghost whisperer - Melinda's daughter 1

Two years after the birth of Aiden , Melinda and Jim were blessed with another child a daughter. Andrea Mary James Lucas, though to the world she was Sam Lucas daughter, she was also Jim Clancy's daughter, her father was a complicated and now that she was born she turned out to be more complicated than anyone in her family.

Her Mother could see ghost the earthbound spirits

Her father was a dead man inhabited by another dead man

Then her older brother who was like their mother, could see ghosts, shinies and shadows of the young dead and passed over.

And last but not least her. She could see the dead, the inherit ate gift in her family but aside from that she saw...well she didn't know what she saw.

For the past 16 years she was different from her family because they couldn't really describe what she could do.

She jogged downstairs where her parents and brother were having breakfast. She saw homer barking at her.

"Hey Homer." he ran up and jumped into her arms. "Whoa, easy boy. Easy." her family chuckled

"How come he does that to you every morning. All I get is a Morning bark." Aiden grumbled

"I don't know." Andie lowered Homer down and sat down to breakfast, she grabbed the cereal and poured it out before grabbing the milk and doing the same.

Andie sat under the tree outside school with her nose in a book, her brother was a practice and it was a nice day out so she sat in her favourite place waiting for her brother.

"Is that what you been doing while I practice?" Aiden wondered

"Yes" she mumbled then marked her place in her book and stood up. He was on the cusp of graduating and soon it would be just Andie. She stood up and stared off into space. Aiden saw this and waited he knew his sister was having a vision. She dropped her book and looked all around.

"Sis, sis what did you see?" Aiden  questioned his sister  as her eye landed on the one of the football players with his friends. He was laughing and joking before he split up from them and stuck in his headphones. And dropped her book and took off running.

"Andie!" he called groaning quickly grabbing her stuff. he football was crossing the road.

"Watch out!" Andie  yelled making him look back. What he failed to notice was a speeding car, she pushed him out of the way and the car hit her instead.

"Andrea!" Aiden screamed running over as her body landed with a thump on the ground. He skidded to a stop the other players looked and then ran over, especially the one Andrea one had pushed.

"Is she okay? She just...she came out of nowhere." he breathed "I'll call 911" he took out his phone and called for an ambulance. It came and she was treated at the scene. Alien called his Mom.

"Hey Aiden, how was..." he cut her off

"Mom, Andie's been in a accident! She got hit by a car. She's been taken to hospital you gotta come quick, please. I'm going with her I'm her brother!" he spoke the last part to the paramedics

"Aiden, I'm on my way." Aiden got in the back of the ambulance as watched as they worked on stabilising his sister. Melinda grabbed her things and raced out of the shop leaving Deila behind worried and confused. She pounced into her car and sped off. She called Jim who was on shift.

"Hey, Mel."

"It's Andrea. She's been in a accident. She's on her way to you right now." she sped out telling him like Aiden had done to her. "I'm on my way but you have to get to her first Jim."

"I will, I will."

Jim ran out to his daughter and son who was being pulled out on a stretcher.

"Aiden are you okay, are you hurt?" Jim question his son as they wheeled the young girl inside

"Yeah, i'm fine help her please." 

"I will they left him standing in the hall and then Melinda arrived. She launched at her son bringing him into a hug.

"Mom she flatlined in the Ambulance. It was just for a minute but i saw her Mom, I saw her ghost." he trembled.

"She's gonna be okay, your dad is looking after her." she soothed as she pulled away. "What happened?"

"We had just finished practice, she was at her favourite spot in front of the school. We were going to leave when she had a vision, that  she saw Nathan one of the other players and took off running, she pushed him out of the way of a speeding car then got hit herself. It was so scary." he explained

"I'm sorry." A spirt appeared in front of them "I had to, I had to change it."

"Did you do this to my daughter?" she growled at the ghost

"I had to, she's the key, she can change everything. I tried everything else." she apologised

"Who are you?" Aiden questioned she looked past them and disappeared

"Aiden, how's your sister" Nathan asked

"Mom this is Nathan, the guy Andie saved." Nathan looked shaken from what had just happened. Still trying to put together the past hour.

"I'm sorry, she just came out of  no where and pushed me out of the way." Nathan breathed running a hand through his hair.

"It's fine, well not fine, but I understand." Melinda nodded in understanding but looked around for the ghost that was there.
