Scandal Secret Daughter 10

It was a week before the inauguration, Alex was in the Jefferson Hospital Memorial Maternity ward. 10 Hours in labour to give birth to her first daughter then a hour later another girl. Jake was beside her the entire time. She was cleaned up and in recovery as were the girls. They were wrapped up and put in little bassinets.

"You did it, you actually did it." Jake kissed Alex's head

"Yeah, as long as you remember that during the late night feeds. We'll be fine." she tapped his arm and leant back tired "I'm just gonna sleep now, that was exhausting." she fell asleep as Jake watched over their little girls. In all honesty, he never thought he could survive normal. Not after everything the was and is going on.

A few hours later, Jake had called Fitz, Maria, Eli and Mellie. But told them not to come for a while yet it was Olivia who showed up. Jake left the room

"What are you doing here?"

"Mellie told me."

"I don't want you here." he pulled her away and then went to get coffee

"Congratulations. You are officially outnumber by girls." Olivia joked "You are standing in the sun, you have normal."

"Do I? Because it looks like a awful lot that i keep getting sucked in to whatever is going on." he retorted "I'm quitting. I am gonna quit."

"No you're not."

"Yes I am."

"No you won't. It's not because of me or my father. It's because of Mellie. I was there I heard what you say to Alex. You promised that you would protect Mellie, because Mellie is family." Jake sighs and takes the coffee

"Mellie is days away from President, Peus and Ruland are gone. I am done, it's done. I've already spoken to Mellie, I am keeping my job at the NSA. Where I will be able to go home to my family, yet still do my duty. It's done." Jake smiled shaking his head.

"I wanna restart B-613." Olivia told him

"Absolutely not. How many times can I say this. I. am. done. Who needs to stand in the sun when you have a safe harbour? Goodbye Olivia." Jake walked away and back into the hospital room.

Emily and Nora Ballard were taken home where they were visited by their family. Mellie came in with a little gasp. Alex was on the sofa holding Nora while Jake held Emily.

"Only you could look good after nine months of pregnancy and giving birth to twins." Millie commented

"It's only been a few days." Alex chuckled. Emily started crying and Jake looked at the clock

"Feeding time." Jake shaped daughters and Alex fixed herself and Emily so that she could be fed.

"There was something I wanted to ask you, and if you say no, I get it but I would kick myself for not asking. So again please..."

"What?" Alex laughed

"Will you be at my swearing in? Just the ceremony just like the hour or two. Of course the twins come, I wouldn't even dream." she began rambling again.

"I'm sure getting out for a few hours, will be fine. We will figure something out." She let out a breath. Then Nora started crying. Alex laughed and Nora was fed.

"Emily and Nora, you seemed to pick them out fast. It always took us ages to pick out names." Millie commented as the doorbell rang. Fitz came in with Karen. "Ah you're here, I was just asking about their names.

"Emily was my sisters name." Jake stated "Don't ask." he shook his head at the little confusion

"Nora as in, Nora West Allen. XS." Alexandra laughed "She was my favourite character, growing up."
