Captain James x Reader.

This was supposed to be a simple pick up, pick Sumon up from where he was being cared for and take him back to Barsha, but things hadn't gone to plan, after picking him up and being in the car, something wasn't right. You realised that a car was following you.

"Maze you seeing this?" you ask her as you look behind you.

"Yeah, you got your belts on?" she replied.

"Yes." The car sped up to ups then to the side of us. You slipped down as far as you could while still holding Sumon

"Hey, stop the car, now!" the passenger from the other car ordered.

"Maisie, keep driving, just keep driving she screeched to a slow down and turned the car onto a operate road. You looked back u and there was no car but they were properly just turning. as your turned another corner you saw them.

"Faster Richards!" you order and she speed up even more making another couple of turns

"We've lost them." you breathed

"Yep." she hummed still keeping a eye out.

"It's okay, Sumon. I'll call it in." You grabbed your radio. "Hello, zero alpha this is alpha one zero. We've been pursued by a suspect vehicle. Seems to be resolved. Heading back now. Out." you spoke. Just then then a car slammed into yours. Your head went side ways knocking your head against the window and back again.

"Ugh." you groaned furiously blinking living your hand up to touch your head you felt the bloody substance transfer to your hand. You looked at Sumon.

"Simon, you okay." he grasped hold out you tighter. "Marie, Maze, you alright?" she didn't respond. You heard the attackers head towards you as you tried to get Maisie to wake but she already was.

"Get down." you ducked as she sat up and put her foot down driving away the car to gunshots. Simon started crying and you shushed him.

"Everything is going to be okay." you comforted him. Marie pulled into a side street.

"We need to hide, there is no way were getting back to the barracks in this." she stated and you nodded opening the door you picked up Sumon then your gun.

"We're out numbered and out gunned. God knows how many vehicles they'll have out looking for us.

"Hello zero alpha, this alpha one zero. Vehicle has been ambushed, Primary target is safe. On the move looking for shelter, current location is..." you gave your longitude and latitude. You were grateful when you heard the familiar voice replied.

"zero alpha roger." your Captain said.

While you and Maisie found shelter Captain James and the rest of 2. section were in action and on their way to your location. Charlie's leg bounced slightly as he had grown anxious of your ambush, knowing that for now you were okay, the worry of someone hurting you now with everything that was unfolding between the two of you wouldn't calm his mind, though he had to think rationally, all he wanted was you safe.

In his arrival he saw the car the three of you had been in and called in a not seen.

"Fuck." he muttered seeing the slight blood mark on the back passenger window from where your head smashed against it.

"Has anyone got eyes on y/l/n or Richards" he was answered with not seen from the others.

You hid after being helped by a kind woman, Maisie peeked to see what was going on when a gunshot forehand you knew the woman who had helped you was dead, you put Sumon down and held him a different way, that would comfort and keep him quiet. the doors slammed open as the attackers were mere feet away from you, probably searing the room. The curtains opened.
