To watch your father fall from the grace of the King is heart wrenching itself but to add the loss of love and respect of someone who you thought you were going to marry, it makes life tough.

Y/N Wolsey, daughter go Cardinal Wosley and Joan was the apple of her father's eye and promised herself to her friend and love Charles Brandon, neither of them could do wrong in her nieve little eyes. However Charles Brandon did wrong many times with other women and then when she watched her love arrest her father.

"How could you!" she screamed running to him and hitting him.

"y/n." he breathed

"What you forgot that you the one you are arresting is supposed to be your father in law. He was right, you're not worthy of someone like me if this is how you treat someone your supposed to love."

"It is out of my hands, y/n" your mother pulled you back as they left the two of you sobbing.

---

news had reached you that you were now fatherless, your father had died alone and in captivity, you know the bible spoke of forgiveness but putting it into action with your former love and the King of England, it was difficult. You sat in the cold dark home of York, your mother still wretched over you fathers death. You had spent days waking up eating and then staring out of the window. but today was different, you had received a letter from from Charles saying that tough your father died you may still live in your current conditions and that he hoped you were well.

"How dare he." you snarled showing your mother the letter.

"He is just trying to be kind dear."your mother put the letter down and sighed

"Kind? he took father away. Someone who I was going to marry, took him away and sealed his fate. I will never forgive him for this." you stormed of and gathered what little quill and apartment you had left and began writing, they would pay for this and you would make sure of it. All you needed to do was with to someone who you knew well and they would help.

The good little Cardinal's daughter you were not. Not anymore.

My Dearest friend Kol,

I hope this reaches you well

I regret to inform you of my family's fall from grace. We now take refuge in York, The Lord has saw fit to put this trial in front of my family and I, though I try and take it with as much dignity as I can, I request your company so that you can help me through these trying times. I also wish to inform you of my father's passing into the Lords hands. You have always been one of my most trusted friends and I yours.

I hope to see you soon

Your Loving friend.

y/n Wolsey

You folded and sealed it before reaching for another parchment.

Your Grace, Duke of Suffolk.

We have had many good times these past years and your betrayal has hurt me so. However the letter attached is to a dear friend who I wish to comfort me dying these times. i hope as one last favour of our relationship, you see that it reaches him.

Your's Sincerely.

Miss Y/N Wolsey.

you did the same and sent them off. All you had to do now was wait...

A couple of weeks past and you began to lose hope that Charles had sent the innocent letter onwards. However, you heard hooves from down below and you looked through the window to see what was going on. You heard him before you saw him.
