"Easy, sister." it was Nik, you looked at him and he could tell that there was something different. Your brother in law and also your best friend always seemed to catch on first to differences about you than your husband Elijah did.
"What's the matter?"
"Do you ever have moments where you sit and dwell on the life you lost out on a thousand years ago?" you asked him back.

"I do, once in a while i sit in a park just watching humans go on with their busy lives, going to work, love life, children. i see mothers take their little ones to the park and I just cry. I do just sit there holding my stomach at something that never happened." he guided you into his office.
"Has someone done something to you? Is it my brother?"
